The little beasts formed by the Three Six Strategies Qi—”Abundance and Void,” “Martial Vanguard,” and “Leixu”—clung stubbornly to Li Yi’s body. The restless energies of thunder, fire, and earth blazed like dazzling comet tails, churning and swirling without end.
Meanwhile, the seven-colored pillar of light outside his body was even more flamboyant, like a strutting peacock. Its earth-shaking presence was no less than that of a deity!
Even Li Yi himself seemed to gain a more solemn and imposing air.
“You… you have no shame!” Yuyi was not afraid at all. Furious, she shouted at him.
“Since we formed an alliance, we should share fortune and misfortune alike,” Li Yi said with an unchanged expression, keeping a stiff upper lip.
He knew his current demeanor was detestable. However, between integrity and his life, the latter seemed far more important.
“Don’t push me. If you push me too hard, at worst, I’ll simply cut ties for good!” Yuyi’s expression shifted between gloom and anger. A dim flash of light appeared in her palm, and a scroll materialized in her hand.
“Myriad Paths Scroll?” Li Yi’s gaze fell upon it, and his expression changed immediately.
The Myriad Paths Scroll, taking its meaning from “all paths vanish without a trace,” was a random teleportation scroll. It was extremely unstable—one could appear a hundred miles away, or right next to their original spot. It could even send someone high into the sky or deep underground. Although the aftereffects were severe, in many situations, it could serve as a life-saving treasure.
“This Paired Ring has a distance limit, too. It will fail if we move more than ten li apart!” Yuyi’s breathing grew rapid, her voice carrying a note of resolve. “Right now, I will trade this scroll for the Paired Ring in your hand. If you refuse, you know what I will do…”
Yuyi’s tone was fierce. Afraid she might actually follow through, Li Yi quickly said, “Fine. But you need to help me get out of the ‘Thunderlight Domain’!”
“Agreed!” Yuyi nodded.
Both knew time was tight. There was no room for pleasantries or haggling, so they quickly closed the deal.
They exchanged items. Li Yi put away the Myriad Paths Scroll, and Yuyi retrieved the Paired Ring.
“What are you standing around for? Let’s go!” Yuyi strode outward, not waiting for Li Yi at all.
If the other party was willing to keep their promise, Li Yi would count his blessings. How could he care about her attitude now?

Unlike their leisurely pace on the way in, the two of them now moved swiftly.
Li Yi slowed his breathing, sensing the changes within his body.
Those three strands of Six Strategies Qi were no less potent than the mythical liver of a dragon or marrow of a phoenix. Deep within his body, it felt like a grand feast was taking place. From the inside out, his energy circulated, nourishing every inch of his bones, organs, muscles, and skin. As he moved, his bones rumbled, his muscles pulsed, and his skin trembled—all of it growing madly.
Furthermore, a new corner had grown on his Bloodline Rune.
Its shape was completely different from his Bloodline Rune, “Bearing the Stele,” which took the form of a Dragon Turtle.
The “Bearing the Stele” Rune was smooth and calm, like a Dragon Turtle carrying the Luo River Chart.
This new rune, however, had prominent horns and a sharp edge. It harbored a rebellious, fierce ferocity, even carrying a hint of wickedness!
Li Yi didn’t know if this abnormality came from the Ancient Alligator Qi or because all three strands of Six Strategies Qi belonged to violent, fierce energies.
He couldn’t be bothered to figure it out.
The colored light on him was like a death warrant, constantly pressuring him!
“Let me see…”
Light gleamed in his eyes as his Dawnlight Eyes activated, focusing on the little beast “Abundance and Void.” Li Yi’s expression changed.
Within that energy, he clearly sensed a discordant strand of seven-colored energy, churning and tangling, repelling the others.
“So that’s it!”
A thought crossed his mind, and Li Yi suddenly understood. No wonder he had vaguely felt that these several strands of Six Strategies Qi were somewhat muddy and unclear.
Moreover, while Six Strategies Qi was indeed marvelous, why would it cause such a heaven-shaking phenomenon during refinement?

“We’re not there yet?” Li Yi grumbled. Looking up, he saw three Mages at the edge of the thunderlight, watching intently like tigers. Even with masks covering their faces, he could sense their ill intentions.
“Alright, this is enough!” Li Yi knew he couldn’t demand more. His body crouched slightly, and like a wild wolf, he bolted forward.
“I hope you can survive…” Yuyi’s tone was complex. She turned and quickly walked away in the opposite direction.

“You people are seeking your own deaths!”
A domineering voice echoed around Li Yi, accompanied by an imposing and aggressive aura.
“The Baxia Mask?”
The three trembled at the sight of the mask. They had come from where Yazi was and had witnessed his wild and fierce nature firsthand. What about Baxia, another of the dragon’s nine sons?
Sure enough, he was also arrogant and unruly!
His Magic Gestures were as swift as fluttering butterflies. In an instant, dozens of gestures unfolded one after another.
It was clear his control over his body was formidable. And, moreover, this spell was likely immensely powerful!
Even before the fight began, the three were already intimidated.
Just as expected, while Baxia rushed forward, molten rock and scorched earth snaked beneath his feet. Suddenly, a blazing Inferno roared into existence!
“Inferno? That… how is that possible?” the most skilled among the three shrieked. “That’s a 4th-level spell!”

Seeing this, the three realized they’d been fooled. Furious, they gave chase.

Li Yi’s direction was toward “Leixu.”
He was not only most familiar with this place, but Leixu’s “Gravity Domain” was also where he could best utilize his strengths.
Looking down from above, countless figures from all directions converged, following the seven-colored light screen. They formed a huge ellipse around the running Li Yi.
“Almost there!” While a distant mountain might seem near but take forever to reach, Li Yi’s speed was certainly no less than that of a legendary steed covering a thousand miles a day.
Another two figures charged forward, their feet stomping heavily, Battle Aura flaring as they transformed into golden streaks of lightning, darting over!
“Stop right there!” Li Yi didn’t slow down. He pushed both hands forward, Dragon-Turtle Qi coiling around his fingers. Two Earth Binding Spells shot out one after another.
“Foolish!” The two laughed arrogantly. They weren’t weak Mages. With their powerful Battle Aura, they could forcefully break free from the Earth Binding Spells!
But they soon realized they were wrong.
The earth energy surging up from the ground was actually a milky white color and terrifyingly heavy, as if a mountain was pressing down!
Only after a full ten breaths did they barely manage to break free. By then, Li Yi was long gone.
“This person… is no ordinary foe…”
One of the two, a cat-faced warrior, said coldly.
The distance to the Leixu skeleton was getting closer and closer!
And the streams of people approaching from the sides and from behind were growing thicker and heavier.
Buzz!
A huge sword swept horizontally through the air. Li Yi’s figure flickered, floating like a ghost, narrowly dodging it. He pressed onward.
“He wants to enter the Gravity Domain! Don’t let him succeed!” Someone saw through Li Yi’s plan and shouted.
“Everyone, stun him together!”
“That’s a good idea! Let’s do it!”
“Alright!”
Someone (it was unclear who) made the suggestion. A group of Mages and warriors simultaneously roared in anger!
The Mages’ eyes flashed with electricity, and the Void thundered—this was Psychic Blast!
The warriors, meanwhile, focused their Battle Aura and roared with all their might. This was—”Demoralizing Shout”!
The Demoralizing Shout and the Psychic Blast—the masculine force of the warriors and the subtle force of the Mages—the two powers combined and transformed into something new. They coalesced into a massive orb of light that tore through the sky and earth, rolling down toward Li Yi!
“Psychic Blast? I’m its master!” Li Yi snorted angrily. He snapped his fingers several times in succession, detonating that psychic orb from a distance.
BOOM!
The entire Dragon’s Burial Ground seemed to shake violently. The power of the blast sent everyone tumbling to the ground, not even the warriors were spared!
Li Yi bore the brunt of it. After spitting out a mouthful of blood, he used the remaining force of the blast to propel himself into the Gravity Domain.
