The nearly one-foot-long spear tip pierced its heart. But to Su Lun’s surprise, no blood flowed out. The Ancestral Spirit’s power had caused some strange changes to this Troll’s body.

“Roar!”

The Ancestral Spirit Troll, having regained movement, ignored the wound in its chest and swung its axe in a full circle towards Su Lun.

The sound of violent collisions rang out. With each clash between the two, large amounts of lightning burst forth. The surrounding Trolls and Gnolls were directly electrocuted into charcoal by this lightning. The fierce struggle was like a storm. The Purple Dragon Halberd swept horizontally, Lightning Glow flashing. The huge recoil force caused both to retreat several steps. As soon as it steadied itself, the Ancestral Spirit Troll charged forward again, its heavy Two-Handed Axe swinging towards Su Lun’s face with immense force.

As Su Lun steadied himself, he also moved. His right leg burst upward, enveloped in a large amount of Lightning Glow, kicking diagonally upwards precisely at the Troll’s wrist. His right hand tightly gripped the Purple Dragon Halberd. A cold glint arrived first, then the spear shot out like a dragon.

A dull sound.

Su Lun felt the cold axe blade sweep past his face. Then, the Troll let out an angry roar. The Purple Dragon Halberd had directly pierced one of the Troll’s eyes. Dodging the axe with a sidestep, Su Lun immediately flipped sideways away.

That previous move was completely the Ancestral Spirit Troll’s plan to trade injury for injury. It could ignore its wounds, but Su Lun could not.

Su Lun grinned, his eyes showing no fear. The Ancestral Spirit Troll had lost an eye, thanks to the Purple Dragon Halberd. Seeing Su Lun’s expression, the Ancestral Spirit Troll grew even angrier. By this point, both sides had begun to fight desperately.

Su Lun’s figure moved as he directly lunged forward. Accompanied by an angry roar, the great axe swept across. Su Lun swung his halberd horizontally, lightning bursting forth. A tremendous force transmitted from the weapon, but the Ancestral Spirit Troll ignored it, enduring the omnipresent lightning damage to trade injury for injury with Su Lun.

In the chaos, Su Lun gritted his teeth and fiercely threw a knee strike. The Troll was not weak either, directly punching back. The man and the Troll collided like two trains, then both tumbled back.

The Ancestral Spirit Troll’s neck was mostly severed. Recovering from the stiffened state, its scarred arm gripped the lightning-enveloped halberd, preventing the Purple Dragon Halberd from completely beheading it. The powerful Lightning Glow instantly charred its arm black.

Just as Su Lun prepared to retract the halberd for another sweep, the Ancestral Spirit Troll before him suddenly let out an ear-splitting roar!

“War Roar!”

A sound wave mixed with strange energy swept directly across. Su Lun felt a ringing in his ears, and his whole body froze for an instant. A dizzy feeling surged in his mind. This roar was like a tidal wave, rapidly expanding outward from the Ancestral Spirit Troll as the center.
