Chapter 134: Superpower, Metal Transformation!

In the living room on the first floor, an old Big Ben clock from England had its second hand ticking away, producing clear, crisp ticking sounds.

At eleven fifty-nine, as the minute hand gave a slight shift, both the hour and minute hands aligned perfectly at twelve. Immediately, Big Ben chimed loudly twelve times.

The clear, melodious chimes echoed through the empty living room. In the dark room, a person sat quietly on the sofa. As the bell rang, two beams of sharp light suddenly lit up from the sofa’s location.

Lin Mu opened his eyes.

His amazing Spiritual Perception allowed him to sense every movement around the manor, even though he was sitting in the villa’s living room. Though he could not see as clearly as when he used his Spiritual Sense in the past, he could vaguely detect any activity.

Just as the bell rang, Lin Mu keenly noticed many irregular energy signatures appearing around the manor. Among them, the three strongest ones were all above the Subtlety Realm.

Besides those three, there were about ten other energy signatures, each significantly stronger than ordinary people. They were likely other members of the Supernatural Ability Group. Lin Mu sensed energy fluctuations, large or small, from each of them.

As for the remaining chaotic energy signatures, they seemed to be trained combat personnel brought by the Supernatural Ability Group to confuse others. They might have been Special Forces soldiers or privately trained troops.

“Follow the plan, split into teams and move!”

Looking at the vast manor ahead, a glint flashed in Lawrence’s eyes. He waved his hand lightly, and the people behind him immediately scattered, quickly surrounding the entire manor.

Unlike the ordinary soldiers, the Supernatural Ability Group members split into two teams. One was led by Lawrence himself, while the other gathered behind an unfamiliar man.

This man stood over two meters tall. His explosive muscles looked terrifying, as if forged from refined steel. His bald head reflected the moonlight, and he stared fixedly at the manor without blinking.

His name was Kroeyer, nicknamed the Robot. He was of mixed Russian and Nordic descent, with a naturally much stronger physique than ordinary people. After awakening his Superpower, he became even more formidable.

“Kroeyer, you take your team through the front gate. I’ll attack from the side.”

Lawrence smiled slightly.

“No problem, leave this to me.”

Kroeyer replied in a buzzing voice, sounding like a robot with no emotion.

“Good, let’s move!”

Lawrence nodded and swiftly disappeared into the night with his team along the manor’s outer wall.

Kroeyer twisted his neck, producing a terrifying cracking sound that made it seem as if his cervical spine had snapped. Then, with an indifferent expression, he walked to the main entrance of the Luo Family Manor.

“Hey, you there! This is private property. Get away from here!”

The security guard on duty inside the gate immediately spotted the stranger and hurried out of the guard booth, waving his hand to shoo him away.

Kroeyer acted as if he didn’t hear and walked straight toward the gate. The exposed skin on his body shimmered with an unusual metallic luster.

“Stop! Or I’ll shoot!”

Seeing that something was wrong, the guard immediately drew his pistol from his waist and aimed it at the approaching figure, shouting loudly.

As soon as the words left his mouth, Kroeyer’s body suddenly shook. A large crater appeared on the ground beneath him, and he instantly went from stillness to motion, crashing toward the manor’s gate like a cannonball.

The gate of this luxurious manor was made of ordinary steel, meant only for appearance. How could it possibly withstand the assault of a Superpower User, especially someone as powerful as Kroeyer.

With one fierce impact, the gate immediately shattered into pieces, sending steel fragments flying everywhere. The guard, frightened, tried to fire his gun but found that the stranger had already vanished from sight.

He looked around but still couldn’t find the man. Only then did he remember his duty and hurried back to the guard booth, intending to press the alarm inside.

But he had only taken two steps when a tremendous force slammed into his back. He was sent flying through the air, crashing directly into the guard booth. The light inside went out in an instant.

In truth, whether the alarm was activated or not no longer mattered. The loud noise from Kroeyer’s gate crash had already alerted everyone in the manor. Even Luo Huafu, who had been working in his study, looked up in surprise.

He quickly got up and walked to the window. From a distance, Luo Huafu could see that the manor’s gate was gone, and the nearby guard booth had turned into a pile of rubble.

“President Luo, there’s no need to panic. Leave this to us.”

Just as Luo Huafu felt slightly unsettled and was about to pick up the phone, Lin Mu’s voice suddenly sounded in his ear, though there was no sign of Lin Mu around.

Remembering the mysterious Mr. Lin, Luo Huafu’s flustered heart gradually calmed. He picked up the cup on the table, drained the strong tea in one gulp, wiped his face, and sat back down at his desk.

“The success or failure of the Luo Family rests on this moment. Mr. Lin, I’m counting on you.”

Whether Lin Mu could hear him or not, Luo Huafu muttered to himself. Then he resumed reviewing various documents.

Sitting in the living room, Lin Mu curled his lips slightly. He had naturally heard Luo Huafu’s words. It was he who had used the Sound Transmission into the Ear technique to reassure the somewhat panicked Luo Huafu.

“I hope this Supernatural Ability Group is truly powerful. If they can break through the defenses of Jiang Chu and Ding Han, I will personally step in to meet you. Let’s see how strong this so-called Superpower really is!”

A beam of light about an inch long shot out from Lin Mu’s eyes, then vanished in an instant. The entire living room returned to its previous quiet state.

The commotion had already awakened everyone in the Luo Family, but they had all been instructed not to move around freely and to stay in their rooms.

“Heh, they’re finally here, huh? It seems I need to prepare ahead of time.”

In another villa, a man stood by the window, looking at the vanished gate with a sickly smile on his face.

“Full-scale attack! Eliminate all primary targets—leave none alive!”

Lawrence’s voice, tinged with excitement, came through the earpieces. Everyone advanced simultaneously, breaking into the Luo Family Manor from all directions. Soon, faint gunshots could be heard throughout the manor.

All the attackers’ guns were equipped with advanced silencers, reducing the gunfire to a minimum. Ordinary people farther away wouldn’t even hear the shots.

The patrolling security personnel immediately responded. They had drilled repeatedly for possible enemy attack methods, so even with the enemy striking from multiple points, they remained completely unflustered.

“They’re finally here. They’re really arrogant, barging in like this. Do they really think they can take us down?”

In the room, Jiang Chu let out a wild laugh and stood up, walking to the window.

“Since they’re here, we should go meet them. We’ll leave the villa to Lin Mu. I’m sure he can handle it.”

A sharp gleam flashed in Ding Han’s eyes as he stood up and walked to Jiang Chu’s side.

“Captain, the Superpower Users have split into two groups. One entered through the front gate, while the other broke in from the west side of the manor.”

A team member’s voice came through the walkie-talkie on the table.

“It seems our enemies know how to divide our strength. In that case, let’s split up too!”

Jiang Chu turned and smiled, looking at Ding Han.

“Sure, you go to the west side. I’ll handle the group at the front gate.”

Ding Han nodded, then opened the window and leaped directly from the third floor. After landing, he quickly vanished from Jiang Chu’s sight.

By now, security personnel throughout the manor were engaged in fierce battles with the invading enemies. They quickly ran out of bullets, as the attackers had come light for a surprise assault and didn’t carry much ammunition.

Dropping their firearms, everyone drew their weapons, leading to brutal close-quarters combat. Though few had died during the gunfight, within minutes of direct confrontation, over a dozen people had already fallen.

Knowing the destructive power of guns, no one was foolish enough to face bullets head-on. Everyone took cover behind barriers. But in close combat, it all came down to individual strength.

At this point, the difference in strength would directly determine victory or defeat. Often, even a slight misstep could mean falling and never getting up again.

Ding Han, leading six members of the Dragon Protection Corps, quickly arrived at the front gate. At that moment, the Superpower Users waiting outside slowly walked in and stood behind Kroeyer.

“So you’re the Dragon Protection Corps? Your strength is indeed remarkable. It seems this trip wasn’t in vain. I hope you won’t disappoint me!”

Kroeyer slowly scanned Ding Han and the others, then suddenly grinned widely, letting out a buzzing wave of sound.

Looking at the burly man before him, Ding Han could tell just by his build how terrifying his strength must be. Combined with his status as a Superpower User, Ding Han didn’t dare underestimate him in the slightest.

“It seems you’re the Supernatural Ability Group. As expected of a secret unit from the United States. The Luo Family members are behind me. If you can get past me, do as you please with them!”

Ding Han took off his outer clothes, revealing a black tank top and well-defined muscles. Though they didn’t look as imposing as Kroeyer’s, those who knew Ding Han understood that the power contained within his body was equally fearsome.

“My name is Kroeyer. Remember who killed you!”

The bald man let out a wild laugh, stomped his right foot hard on the ground. The intense tremor was clearly felt even by Ding Han and the others opposite him. Within a ten-meter radius, the ground cracked in all directions, as if a minor earthquake had struck.

A strange glow instantly spread across Kroeyer’s entire body. His face turned silver-gray, and his pupils lost their luster, giving him a distinctly metallic appearance.

This was Kroeyer’s Superpower—complete body metal transformation!
