Chapter 57: No Burden Bullying the Little Kid.

Dozens of ‘humans’ surrounding her pointed weapons at her, and Monica knew very well that if she made even a single suspicious move, these weapons would fire immediately to kill her.

Monica recognized the ‘human’ Hive. Because back in her mother’s generation of the ‘Bugs’, they had engaged in massive ‘conflicts’ with these creatures spanning several Star Sectors.

(The Bugs saw it as a conflict, but the humans saw it as war.)

In the end, the Zerg were defeated and fled into this desolate Star Sector. But through the Zerg’s unique method of passing down knowledge, Monica had received information about humans from her mother.

“Woo-boo-boo-boo, I’m such a poor little kid. The Biological Battleship from the base ran out of Energy. I was among the first group of ‘Bugs’ sent out to find a way to survive on their own. Why did I end up in such a horrible place? Woo-boo-boo-boo…”

Thinking about her tough experience, Hive Monica became extremely upset.

“Mommy, mommy, I’ve met so many bad people!”

Monica really missed her mommy right now, but she understood deep down. No matter how much she called out for mommy, she could never come back.

Because Monica’s mommy had died hundreds of years ago when she ran out of Energy.

“Stop producing Warrior Bugs, or we’ll take it as a provocation. We’ll immediately open fire and kill you!”

Just as Monica was deep in her sadness, Wangcai simulated Bio-electrical Waves conveying his Master’s order.

The gigantic fleshy lump trembled violently, seeming thoroughly startled.

“No! No! Don’t shoot! I won’t make more Warrior Bugs. Really! Believe me!”

Monica did not want to die; she was still young. She hadn’t enjoyed the wonderful life of a ‘Bug’ yet, so she couldn’t die.

Watching the huge, fleshy, tumor-like Hive in the Basin quivering all over, Fatty Lei couldn’t help but find it slightly amusing. “This Hive is kind of interesting. Says she’s a kid, wants to surrender. If that’s the case, doesn’t that make me a bully picking on a kid?”

Fatty Lei pursed his lips and thought, “What kind of terrifying kid is this?!”

This was the opponent who’d fought a war involving thousands of Xenomorphs! Even if she was a kid, she was still frighteningly powerful!

“Sire Master, what should we do next? If we don’t solve this creature’s Loyalty Level issue, keeping her around will always be troublesome. Frankly, I suggest we just finish her off now to avoid future hassles.”

Just as Fatty Lei was pondering, Wangcai moved closer and suggested this in a low voice.

Fatty Lei found Wangcai’s suggestion quite tempting. Yet, he also thought it would be truly wasteful to simply kill the Hive. After all, it was willing to surrender and even become his Slave.

For Fatty Lei, this could be a great thing.

Of course, the crucial requirement was solving the Hive’s Loyalty Level issue.

Once that problem was solved, the Hive could endlessly produce Warrior Bugs for Fatty Lei to address his manpower shortage. That was the main reason Fatty Lei didn’t immediately agree with Wangcai’s proposal.

“Ask her how, even if she wants to serve me as my Slave, I’m still very concerned about her loyalty.” Then Fatty Lei instructed Wangcai: “Also tell her, if we can’t find a good way to resolve this problem, she still faces the Destiny of being wiped out.”

Wangcai nodded. He simulated Bio-electrical Waves again and began communicating with the Hive.

“Hey, my master asks: how can you guarantee your loyalty to my master? Know this, it’s a crucial issue. If you think just a few words will make us trust you, you are terribly mistaken.” Wangcai’s simulated Bio-electrical Waves voice was icy. These words struck fear deep into Hive Monica’s heart.

“Let me also tell you, you’d better show some sincerity. Don’t try to play tricks on us. I’ll be honest: if you have no way for us to confirm your Loyalty Level, then there’s no point in us talking any further.”

This sentence turned Hive Monica utterly cold inside.

“Woo-boo-boo-boo, you jerks! Always bullying a little kid?!”

Hive Monica’s huge, fatty, tumor-like body quivered uncontrollably.

Her child-like sobbing continuously flooded into Fatty Lei and Wangcai’s minds.

“Snap!”

Fatty Lei gave a hand signal. Inside the Basin, the Artificial Human Soldiers raised their Laser Rifles, all aiming at the Hive.

Once Fatty Lei gave the order, the Artificial Human Soldiers would absolutely carry out the command and fire to kill Hive Monica.

“Don’t ~ don’t shoot! I have a way! I have a way for you to confirm my loyalty!”

The Artificial Humans surrounding Hive Monica did not lower their Laser Rifles despite her words. This made her incredibly tense and scared.

“Tell her to demonstrate it quickly. We don’t have much time.” Fatty Lei glanced at the sky; it was nearly dusk. That meant in a little while, the Planetary Storm would arrive.

If Fatty Lei and his men didn’t hurry back to the Military Outpost, they definitely wouldn’t escape the Planetary Storm’s attack.

Wangcai, hearing this, turned back. Simulating Bio-electrical Waves, he told Hive Monica: “There isn’t much time left for you now. Our master’s patience is limited. If you want us to see your sincerity, then be quick about it.”

“Oh ~ oh ~ okay, please don’t be nervous. I’ll show you now.”

Monica’s life was literally in their hands now. At this moment, she didn’t dare have any other thoughts.

All Monica could think about now was surviving, figuring out how to stay alive under the control of these bad guys…

Fatty Lei stood atop the Armored Vehicle, squinting his eyes, staring hard at the Hive in the Basin.

“Wangcai.”

“Yes, Sire Master?”

Without taking his eyes off the Hive, Fatty Lei’s next words reached Wangcai’s ears.

“Signal the Artificial Human Soldiers to get ready. If this Hive tries any tricks, we shouldn’t continue this any further.”

Fatty Lei was also worried. He feared the Hive was playing for time — stalling while secretly preparing a sneak attack or surprise move.

“Better safe than sorry,” Fatty Lei instructed Wangcai.

He really wanted this Hive as his Slave, but if he couldn’t control her, it would be a huge security risk. Fatty Lei didn’t want that and certainly wouldn’t accept it. So, if this surrendering Hive posed a security risk, Fatty Lei didn’t mind killing it.

Even if this Hive cursed him for being a kid-bully.

But really, even if that darn Hive was a kid, what did it matter to him?

Bullying a little alien buddy? Fatty Lei had zero psychological burden about that.

Getting Fatty Lei’s hint, Wangcai understood immediately.

“Rest assured, Master. I know what to do.”

As the loyal deputy and dog-legged Deputy Officer, if Wangcai couldn’t grasp his master’s subtle meanings, then he really deserved to be … well, eliminated.

“Our time is very limited. We are losing our patience waiting for you.” Wangcai simulated Bio-electrical Waves, delivering the final ultimatum to the Hive in the Basin.

“WHIR~ CLANG~!”

The Laser Cannons on the five Armored Vehicles shifted positions slightly, their barrels now all squarely aimed at the Hive in the Basin.

The Laser Cannons had stored their maximum power load.

Hive Monica knew she couldn’t escape this Destiny. Only by taking immediate action and showing submission could she get these villains to accept her and spare her life.

“I’m sorry, mommy. I’ve truly shamed our ‘Zerg Race’.”

After a silent internal sigh, Hive Monica spoke to Wangcai: “I will now bring out the Crystal Core inside me. This Crystal Core can be completely integrated into your Master’s body. That means he can control my life and death. This is absolutely certain.”

Then, the Hive’s body began to rapidly squirm. Loud, squelchy, and glutinous sounds came from it: “SQUELCH! SQUELCH!”

“SHLOP~~~!”

Soon, the center of the Hive’s main body split open. A small, pink, fist-core-sized crystal slowly oozed out.

“This is my Crystal Core. Whoever controls it controls my life and Destiny. Given the chance, in the future, he would also be the King of the Tribes led by me.”

Monica felt very down. In Zerg Race history, no Hive had ever surrendered before.

“I guess I’m the first surrendering Queen in the ‘Zerg Race’?”

But honestly, Hive Monica couldn’t be blamed. After the Zerg (Zerg Race) lost their conflict with humans, they abandoned their original Star Sectors and moved to others in search of suitable habitats.

However, the Biological Battleship ran critically low on Energy, forced to drift deep in the Universe. To preserve the race’s survival, younglings like Monica had been ejected from the Biological Battleship.

Monica’s luck was actually fairly decent; at least she managed to find a landfall location.

Many others ejected like her, lacking a landfall site, simply starved to death during the long drift through the Universe.

After sending off these hopes of the Zerg, the remaining dying Zerg chose to self-destruct the Biological Battleship.

As an ‘orphan,’ while Monica received some knowledge from her mother, it was just fragmented information, and chaotic too.

Without any guidance, it was natural that Monica couldn’t perfectly retain the ‘Zerg Race’s’ traditional refusal-to-surrender spirit.

When the Crystal Core inside Monica was finally pushed out, Wangcai, standing beside Fatty Lei, bent slightly and asked softly: “Master, what do you think?”

“Go retrieve that Crystal Core. But be careful.”
