After placing Zhang Min on the sofa, Lü Yang crouched down. He picked up her injured foot, took off her High-heeled Shoes, and tore her flesh-colored stockings with his hand. He carefully examined her injured area.

“This sprain is easy to fix. Huh? What’s going on over there?” Lü Yang suddenly looked surprised and glanced behind Zhang Min.

“Yes,” the staff member quickly nodded and ran back to the phone.

“Mr. Mei, please sit,” Zhang Min gestured to Lü Yang, her expression becoming more formal. She probably remembered that this young man was here to commission her.

“Thank you,” Lü Yang replied and sat down on a single sofa beside Zhang Min.

The staff member who hadn’t made the call hurried to bring two teacups. She made fragrant tea for Zhang Min and Lü Yang, then stepped aside with her hands at her sides.

“Mr. Mei looks very young. How old are you?” Zhang Min took a sip of tea and asked Lü Yang.

“I’m twenty-one. Lawyer Zhang, I’m here this time…”

“Call me Sister Min,” Zhang Min waved her hand, interrupting Lü Yang.

“Sister Min,” Lü Yang smiled. Downstairs, he had completely given up hope, thinking it was impossible to hire one of the top lawyers in Guishe City. Unexpectedly, he became familiar with the most famous one among them.

Lü Yang’s face darkened. A lawyer was indeed a lawyer. This Zhang Min was really hard to deal with. He had fixed her foot—didn’t she know how to be grateful?

“But for you, I’ll make an exception,” Zhang Min looked at Lü Yang with a smile.

Zhang Min laughed. Then, she touched her warm forehead and cheeks and called out to the side, “Xiao Huang, help my brother fill out the power of attorney and contract.”

“Yes, Director Zhang.”

The staff member named Xiao Huang was Huang Li, Zhang Min’s assistant. She acknowledged and went into the inner room. After a while, she brought out the power of attorney and contract.

Hesitating for a moment, Huang Li glanced at Lü Yang, then leaned close to Zhang Min’s ear. “Director Zhang, you’ve had too much to drink. Should we wait until you’re sober to handle this contract and power of attorney…”

“Who says I’m drunk?” Zhang Min glared unhappily at Huang Li and pointed at Lü Yang. “Is he an outsider? He’s my brother!”

“Yes, Director Zhang…” Huang Li had no choice. She went over to Lü Yang, placed the power of attorney and agency contract in front of him, and guided him through filling them out.

“This is my cousin’s commission. Is it appropriate for me to fill it out?” Lü Yang remembered something and quickly asked Huang Li.

By the time Lü Yang finished filling out the power of attorney and agency contract, Zhang Min had already slumped sideways on the sofa, her eyes closed as if she had fallen asleep.

“Director Zhang needs to sign and confirm this contract and power of attorney. She’s asleep now. Maybe you should come back later…” Huang Li quietly suggested to Lü Yang.
