Chapter 207: Brutality

Lü Yang felt very annoyed with these four men. But he did not show it, because they had not come forward to start a physical fight, and without using Eerie Points, his current body was very weak.

After they had mostly finished eating, Yi Ya wanted to use the restroom. Lü Yang also needed to relieve himself, so they walked together toward the restaurant’s restroom. Hu Yulan was still eating and could not go, so she stayed behind to look after their luggage.

After Lü Yang entered the stall, pulled down his pants, and squatted to relieve himself, the restroom door lock suddenly twisted open from the outside. Several men came in. From their laughter and noise, Lü Yang recognized them as the four drunk twenty-year-olds from the other table.

This unisex restroom felt very uncomfortable, especially for women. The stalls were not sealed, with a gap of nearly twenty centimeters at the bottom, and voices from outside could be clearly heard. Similarly, sounds from inside must be audible outside.

Lü Yang felt quite annoyed. The restaurant was not very big. These men should have seen “her” and Yi Ya enter. Why didn’t they wait, but followed them in?

After the four men entered the restroom, their noise suddenly died down. They closed the restroom door and seemed to be secretly muttering among themselves, emitting low, lewd laughter.

As he shouted, Lü Yang quickly stood up, pulling up his pants.

“Damn! Little bitch! Who’s peeping at you!?” Hearing “Lin Yin’s” shout to Yi Ya, the four men outside immediately began cursing and started violently shaking and kicking the door of Lü Yang’s stall.

Lü Yang had just fastened his pants when the stall door was kicked open. A red-faced, drunken twenty-year-old man grabbed “Lin Yin” by the collar and dragged “her” out of the stall. He cursed in local dialect: “Little bitch! How dare you say I’m a peeper!? I’ll rape you right now! What can you do about it!?”

Lü Yang recognized his face—it was the same man who had peered under the stall at “her.”

“Let her go! Help!” Yi Ya, having just straightened her clothes and come out of her stall, screamed sharply when she saw what was happening.

“You scream again! I’ll kill you!” Another man immediately yelled and rushed toward Yi Ya…

“CRACK!” The man holding “Lin Yin’s” collar stared in astonishment as his forearm was bent at a ninety-degree angle… Then he let out a pig-like squeal of pain.

Another “CRACK!” The man charging at Yi Ya suddenly felt an agonizing pain in his shin. He instinctively looked down and saw a woman’s foot had kicked the side of his shin—so hard it had broken the bone!

Was this a woman? No, was she even human!?

An equally piercing shriek erupted from his mouth…

The other two men guarding the door had not yet grasped the situation when they felt a sharp pain in their groins. They both bent over, clutching their crotches and hopping up and down…

This was just the beginning.

“CRACK! CRACK!” The sounds kept coming. All four men’s arms and legs were mercilessly snapped and stomped by “Lin Yin.” Though “she” looked delicate, “her” body erupted with several times a normal person’s strength. To “her,” these men were like plastic dolls—easily broken, completely defenseless.

“Rape me!? You’re asking for death! Screw your ancestors!!”

Everything in the restaurant was as usual. Hu Yulan continued eating, completely unaware of the cries for help from the restroom or the men’s screams. The restaurant owner and staff were the same, as were the two middle-aged men drinking.

Lü Yang guessed this was likely due to his use of the Strength Card. The Mysterious Domain had automatically erased the memories of witnesses when the Strength Card was used, and caused people nearby to be blind and deaf to the events.

If that were the case, the people in the restaurant and the four unfortunate young men probably would not remember “Lin Yin’s” violent actions, saving Lü Yang from having to use a Name Cleansing Card later to avoid punishment.

Lü Yang didn’t think too much more about it. If there were any lingering issues, he would take care of them for Lin Yin.

After leaving the restroom, Lü Yang went directly to the cashier to pay the bill. Back at the table, when Hu Yulan wanted to use the restroom, Lü Yang stopped her and told her to find one outside. Urged on by “Lin Yin,” Yi Ya and Hu Yulan gathered their things and quickly returned to the street. They hailed a taxi and got in. Then, the side effects of the Strength Card kicked in: Lü Yang’s body was completely exhausted, unable to move at all…

These Strength Cards and Agility Cards were indeed overpowered in the Real world. They could turn a weak girl like Lin Yin into such a powerhouse. The bodies of those four men were as fragile as scarecrows in her hands—easily broken and destroyed.

He needed to earn more Eerie Points in the future, to rescue Yi Yi as soon as possible. Once Yi Yi was saved, any extra Eerie Points could be used for heroism.

Back on Millstone Mountain, Lin Yin’s mobile phone had no signal, and Lü Yang couldn’t easily borrow Yi Ya’s phone to contact Lin Yin. So, they hadn’t been in touch. Surprisingly, Lin Yin hadn’t called even once.

After arriving in Lexing City, Lin Yin’s phone had service again. After dinner, Lü Yang used Lin Yin’s mobile phone to call his own number. But the person on the other end—Lin Yin—just said, “You have the wrong number!” and hung up.

Lü Yang was baffled. After thinking for a while, he figured Lin Yin must recognize her own number. She was probably just unable to talk at the moment. If he called again, it might cause trouble for her. So he decided to wait for her to call back.

Around ten o’clock that night, Lin Yin finally called…

“What’s up?” Lin Yin whispered, as if afraid someone might hear.

“Nothing much. Just letting you know we’re taking the six o’clock tour bus back to Guishe City tomorrow. We should arrive downtown around nine. I’m not going to the college; I’ll take a taxi directly back to the Rented Room. Don’t go out in the morning—wait for me so we can swap back.” Lü Yang explained to Lin Yin.

“I’m not at the Rented Room. I was afraid Sister Mei would look for me, so I pretended I had business out of town. I’ve been staying at a hotel these days,” Lin Yin replied.

“A hotel? Oh… which one?” Lü Yang was momentarily surprised, but then it made sense. Lin Yin must have struggled to deal with Sister Mei, so claiming to be away was a smart move. She was quite clever.

Lü Yang had no idea that Lin Yin was actually with Liu Hui and had lied to Sister Mei to avoid being disturbed.

“Jinda Hotel.” Lin Yin told him, then added, “I didn’t touch the money in your bank card…”

“All your expenses are on me,” Lü Yang quickly said. He felt responsible for her staying in a hotel and should cover the costs.

“Can you afford it?” Lin Yin casually retorted. Clearly, her recent luxurious lifestyle had changed her self-perception. She could tell that Liu Hui had spent over a million on her in just a few days—something Lü Yang definitely couldn’t afford.

“If I can’t pay now, I’ll give you an IOU and pay you back slowly,” Lü Yang laughed. He sensed that this Lin Yin was completely different from the one he knew before.
