Mirai’s door stood slightly ajar. Fang Cheng pushed it open to find Uka Mirai and Sato Mai sprawled on the bed playing a game, their summer outfits clinging to them due to the rising temperature.
At the sound of the door, both girls whirled around. Their eyes widened briefly before twin shrieks of delight erupted.

Sato Mai leaped from the bed first, launching herself across the room.

Fang Cheng spread his arms to catch her, enduring the body slam. The rapidly developing girl’s chest size now surpassed most adult women’s. Though proper, Fang Cheng couldn’t bring himself to reject Mai’s enthusiastic nuzzling – hurting the girl’s feelings outweighed his discomfort, leaving him torn between pain and reluctant joy.

Asaka Akihime explained Ye Yuqing’s situation to Uka Kaori while Fang Cheng asked: “Where are the others?”
“All at work.”
Without prior notice, only these three unemployed residents remained home.

“Working overtime again?” The fox didn’t look up from her game.
“Don’t wait for dinner.”
“I’ll go after this round.”
As Kanzaki Rin resumed work, Fang Cheng began caressing her leg. Her foot carried sweet intoxication rather than sweat, tempting him to devour it.
He suddenly noticed the same fragrance permeating her entire being. Realization struck – the Killing Stone had awakened within her.
The lethal stone emitted alluring sweetness to draw prey, poisoning them to absorb vitality. Merged with Kanzaki Rin’s body, it made her bodily fluids poisonous while radiating fragrance.
Kanzaki Rin maintained composure until Fang Cheng’s boldness flushed her cheeks pink. She reached under the desk, twisting his ear violently.
Undeterred, Fang Cheng nuzzled between her thighs. Kanzaki Rin smacked his head loudly.
The nine-tailed fox glanced up, saw nothing amiss, and resumed gaming.
After finishing her round, the fox asked: “Leaving now?”
Kanzaki Rin nodded without lifting her gaze. The fox transformed and leaped through the window, vanishing midair.
Once alone, Kanzaki Rin yanked Fang Cheng from beneath the desk.
“Wife…”
His greeting got swallowed by her sudden kiss. Fang Cheng braced for punches but received sweetness instead.
Healthy competition works wonders, he mused. Maybe Asaka Akihime’s involvement motivated this?
Their passionate locking lips lasted mere seconds before Fang Cheng stiffened, face paling.
“Poison…mouth…” He collapsed dramatically, eyes frozen wide.
Kanzaki Rin wiped her lips with a handkerchief, straightened clothes, then kicked him. “Stop pretending.”
When he remained motionless, she turned to leave. “I’m going home.”
Fang Cheng sprang up. “Damn woman! Trying to kill your husband?”
Kanzaki Rin’s venom had briefly paralyzed even him. Any superpowered individual below Hazard Level A would’ve died instantly.
