Chapter 519: It’s Yours Now, But Will Be Mine Eventually
Chapter 519: It’s Yours Now, But Will Be Mine Eventually
The gods’ beauty couldn’t be directly viewed, so Iyaya often took others’ forms.
As the newly appointed proxy, Asaka Akihime could now see Iyaya clearly.
Her eyes widened when she saw the deity’s face. “Your face… Rin?”
Iyaya had indeed taken Kanzaki Rin’s appearance.
Clutching Fang Cheng’s neck while pressed against him, Iyaya smirked at Asaka Akihime. “Didn’t you see this earlier?”
Asaka Akihime stayed silent. She’d witnessed Iyaya transform into Ye Yuqing before, but seeing her shift into Kanzaki Rin still shocked her.
Ye Yuqing and Kanzaki Rin were fundamentally different – one being her alternate personality, the other her romantic rival. Though they shared friendship, their complicated dynamic defied simple explanation.
Iyaya rubbed cheeks with Fang Cheng. “Aren’t you upset I’m cozying up to him?”
_Which eye sees me happy?
Of course I’m furious!_
Asaka Akihime screamed internally, bitterness flooding her heart. Becoming Iyaya’s proxy meant complete submission – she couldn’t even speak unless permitted.
Fang Cheng shoved Iyaya away. “Why make Akihime your proxy?”
The goddess leaned back into a materialized chair, arms crossed. “I warned you I needed a new proxy.”
Most proxies grew addicted to divine power, but Fang Cheng stubbornly resisted it. Though Iyaya would’ve forced others, Fang Cheng had outgrown her control. With their contract unbreakable, she required a substitute.
“You could’ve picked anyone else!” Fang Cheng snapped.
“She’s the believers’ chosen Saintess – the perfect candidate.” Iyaya crossed her legs, smiling. “Besides, this honor’s beyond most mortals’ dreams.”
“Then release your grip on her soul!” Fang Cheng retorted. “Call it a blessing then.”
Ye Yuqing became a proxy to save his life, but Akihime’s sudden enslavement – controlled in life, soul claimed after death – was intolerable.
“Impossible.”
“Then shut your damn mouth.”
Iyaya saw the anger in Fang Cheng’s gaze and realized he meant business.
Without a proper explanation, cracks might form in their current cooperative relationship.
Annoyance flickered through her – as a deity, she never imagined needing to accommodate her own worker like this.
Fang Cheng’s rapid power growth had shattered her ability to manipulate him as before.
“Of course I did this to strengthen you,” Iyaya chuckled, her foot tracing circles on his lower abdomen. “Did you think driving off that Gates of Heaven evil god meant it was over?”
Fang Cheng’s brow furrowed. “Explain.”
“Now they all know you’re collecting your mother’s body. They’ll come to take you out.” Her toes crept higher. “You and Tsukimi Narumi can’t handle this alone. I need a proxy to properly assist.”
Understanding dawned, but frustration remained. If other evil gods were as weak as Gates of Heaven, escaping would be simple enough. Humanity wouldn’t permit full-scale arrivals anyway.
Iyaya read his thoughts. “Their arrival’s power depends on the door’s size. You only fought small fry.” When he stayed silent, she added, “Besides, only Asaka Akihime suits me. Should I choose some outsider instead?”
Fabric tugged at Fang Cheng’s back. Asaka Akihime whispered, “Cheng-kun, please stop.” Hearing about the impending danger, she’d decided becoming a proxy could help protect him, just like Ye Yuqing did.
After a long pause, Fang Cheng demanded, “Tell me about my mother now.”
“The evil gods oppose her.”
“And you?”
Iyaya answered by hooking her toes in his waistband. Traditional skills indeed – she’d mastered this particular footwork long ago.
Asaka Akihime gaped. That divine being was… undoing Cheng-kun’s pants? And why wasn’t he resisting?
Iyaya pressed Fang Cheng down, wearing Kanzaki Rin’s face as she initiated their “discussion”. Frozen in place, Asaka Akihime could only watch her rival’s doppelganger claim what wasn’t hers. The green beam of heartbreak pierced her chest as Kanzaki Rin’s counterfeit form moved against her man.
“Stop it! Rin!
So you were such a shameless woman?
At least… at least… take me along.”
Asaka Akihime used to read those steamy novels filled with cheating scenarios.
Now she finally understood what true humiliation felt like.
She squeezed her eyes shut in pain, but the vivid scene remained burned into her mind.
“Akihime… Akihime…”
Cheng-kun’s voice suddenly whispered beside her.
Joy surged through Asaka Akihime’s heart – he hadn’t forgotten her.
She opened her eyes to find Fang Cheng standing there neatly dressed, with no trace of Kanzaki Rin or Iyaya.
Fang Cheng frowned with concern: “What’s wrong?”
Asaka Akihime glanced around nervously: “Where’s Rin… and Iyaya?”
“They left after finishing their talk.”
Relief washed over her – it had all been an illusion.
Of course. Since moving to Mechanical City, Rin’s constant vigilance and busy schedule left no opportunity for private moments with Cheng-kun.
Mistaking her flustered state for proxy-related worries, Fang Cheng gently stroked her cheek: “You’ve endured so much.”
She shook her head, resting her face against his chest: “I want to help you willingly.”
They embraced tightly, heartbeats synchronizing.
A figure suddenly tumbled out from the nearby black hole.
Both stared in shock at the girl bearing striking resemblance to Asaka Akihime, yet distinctly different.
Straight shoulder-length hair framed starlit eyes that captivated instantly.
Every angle revealed flawless features beyond mortal craftsmanship.
Her jade-like skin glowed softly, while her figure embodied divine perfection – a living testament to godly creation.
Fang Cheng gaped, awestruck by this new divine masterpiece.
Did Tsukimi Narumi and Iyaya actually understand his preferences?
The reborn girls sported both magnificent headlights and White Tiger Star markings.
Truly magnificent.
The goddess-like newcomer spotted the embracing pair and yelled: “Cheaters! Sneaking around behind my back!”
Her shrill voice shattered the divine illusion completely.
Asaka Akihime rushed forward excitedly: “Yuqing! How’s your new body?”
Ye Yuqing struck a pose, hands on hips: “Pshh! Obviously perfect! Tsukimi Narumi and I tweaked every detail!”
Her chest bounced slightly with movement, Fang Cheng’s eyes tracking the motion.
Noticing his stare, Ye Yuqing hid behind Asaka Akihime despite her pleased blush: “Eyes to yourself!”
Fang Cheng shrugged: “Just inspecting my future property.”
“What property?!”
“The wobbly bits.”
Asaka Akihime flushed pink and elbowed him while Ye Yuqing finally connected the dots, clutching her chest: “These are mine!”
“For now.” Fang Cheng smirked. “Heh… pervert!”
He conjured clothes for Ye Yuqing before stepping back.
The radiant girls whispered together, their combined beauty outshining celestial wonders.
Fang Cheng marveled again at divine craftsmanship shaping such perfection.
“Eep!”
Asaka Akihime suddenly covered her chest and slapped Ye Yuqing’s shoulder: “Why’d you grab me?!”
Ye Yuqing grinned, flexing her fingers: “Beats letting this jerk get first touch!”
Their playful tussle dissolved into laughter – sisters finally sharing separate bodies after lifetimes as roommates.
Fang Cheng eyed them hungrily. “My turn to test the new hardware?”
“Dream on!” Ye Yuqing kicked him away while Asaka Akihime giggled, making no effort to stop her.
