The Starter Village didn’t have a dedicated Trading Area. The entrance of the Starter Village was where most Players traded. But Chen Mo didn’t go to the Starter Village entrance.
The items he wanted to buy were too obscure. Even though there were many Players at the Starter Village entrance, it wouldn’t be easy to buy them there.
So Chen Mo went straight to the locations where several Quest NPCs gave out tasks. The people there were all going to do Quests.
One silver coin each was definitely not a low price. Many Players only had a little over two silver coins by the time they reached Level 10. Seeing Chen Mo offering to buy at this price, Players who had the items sold them to him without hesitation.
In less than half an hour, Chen Mo collected five items including Braised Pufferfish.

After using Braised Pufferfish, the Slime King showed no reaction. It remained unmoved, just stupidly looking around.

Next, he used Corrosive Apple, but the Slime King still didn’t react.

One was from a beggar in Earl Town. He asked Players to collect 10 pieces of wolf meat. Wolf meat could only be obtained in the Wild Wolf Valley. But the Wild Wolf Valley had been taken over by the Flame Three-Headed Wolf. Plus, getting wolf meat required using the Gathering Skill. So, on the Forum, no Player had come forward to say they completed this Quest. No one mentioned what item the beggar rewarded. However, collection-type Quests usually didn’t have very good rewards, so not many people cared about it.
The second Quest was in the northern part of the Slime Plains. An old man gave out a Quest to collect 20 portions of Green Slime Venom and one Old Solution Bottle.
Green Slime Venom was an item that had a chance to drop when Green Slimes died. Chen Mo had killed dozens of Green Slimes and obtained seven portions.
The drop rate wasn’t high, but it wasn’t too low either. Spending some money to buy from other Players, getting 50 portions wouldn’t be a problem.
The problem was the Old Solution Bottle. Surprisingly, no one on the entire Forum knew where to get it. It wasn’t sold in general stores either.
So, although many Players accepted the Quest, no one could complete it. What the reward was remained unknown.
Looking at these two Quests, Chen Mo’s expression turned a bit strange.
