Chapter 7: Fujiwara
Chapter 7: Fujiwara
If it had been Nishizuka Tsukasa himself, a weak scholar type, he would have probably had a hard time handling this situation.
A guy like him only knew how to bully his younger sister, who was one year younger than him.
Nishizuka Tsukasa was actually just tough at home. In the past, he was neither good at arguing with others nor did he have any real experience in physical fights.
However, the current Nishizuka Tsukasa’s body was inhabited by Fang Jing himself, who only appeared to be a middle school student. Not only was he an adult, but he was also experienced and skilled.
He naturally knew that the newcomers meant trouble, but he didn’t take a bunch of middle school kids too seriously. In his view, what kind of powerful methods could they possibly have?
“Alright, let’s go together!”
Anyway, he would deal with whatever came his way. Fang Jing didn’t overthink it and directly followed behind that guy.
Soon, he was taken to the rooftop on the top floor of another old school building.
“Yo! Nishizuka, we meet again.”
The one speaking was Fujiwara Shoichi. Nishizuka Tsukasa seemed to call him “the frivolous guy.”
However, Fujiwara Shoichi didn’t look frivolous from the outside. Logically speaking… in the eyes of others, he should have been the kind of person with good conduct, trusted by his classmates.
But now, with a bright smile on his face, his voice, attitude, and posture all gave off an unpleasant feeling.
“Thud!”
The door was closed by the male student who had brought him there, who was Fujiwara Shoichi’s lackey. The lackey himself stayed outside to keep watch.
What exactly were they trying to do with this setup? Oh! In this abandoned science classroom, besides Fujiwara, there were two other lackeys!
“I still have to continue studying at home. You didn’t call me here for some pointless reason, did you?”
“Heh heh heh…”
Fujiwara suddenly laughed, and the lackeys nearby joined in with harsh laughter.
“You really are a nerd. You don’t actually think I brought you here just to joke around with you, do you!”
He showed an evil smile that he normally never revealed to others and took a step closer to Nishizuka Tsukasa.
Bang!
As if to intimidate, Fujiwara threw a punch at the wall next to Nishizuka Tsukasa.
Fang Jing finally understood the whole story. He raised an eyebrow and said, “Huh! So that’s it. It seems it’s about what happened yesterday. I was indeed in the wrong first. If you don’t mind, Fujiwara, I can apologize to you.”
“Apologize?!”
Fujiwara and his two lackeys glanced at each other and let out vulgar laughter again.
In their eyes at that moment, Fang Jing was like a mouse cornered by them, with a panicked and uneasy expression.
“You’re an idiot… Isn’t it a bit too late to apologize to me now? By the way! What did you say before? That I cheated, that I stole the test papers, right?”
At that time, Nishizuka Tsukasa had indeed shouted exactly that. He had grabbed Fujiwara Shoichi by the collar, glaring at him angrily, accusing him of stealing the test papers to get such a high score.
Fujiwara’s eyes were full of contempt, which made Fang Jing frown.
“Say it again. What exactly did you say back then? I can’t quite remember.”
Fujiwara sneered, the expression on his face tearing through his previous facade.
“What do you mean by that?”
Fang Jing raised his tone. He showed no fear at all, his attitude slightly shifting, and his gaze began to sharpen.
Originally, he felt that Nishizuka Tsukasa was somewhat at fault, so it was appropriate to express an apology. But now, Fujiwara wasn’t just being aggressive anymore.
“I did intend to apologize sincerely, but your current attitude makes it hard to commit to that… Fujiwara-kun, you are being very rude.”
“I never thought you could be this stupid!”
Fujiwara took another step forward, reaching out to grab Fang Jing by the collar: “A nerd like you dares to look down on me? Do you think I should teach you a lesson?”
“What’s all this noise? Aren’t you guys annoying!”
This sentence was roared with terrifying volume from above the two of them. It came from the direction of the rooftop water tank, where a special platform had been built. At that moment, an unusually tall person was sitting up there.
No, he had probably been up there sleeping from the start.
Most likely awakened by the noise below, he rubbed his dyed hair and glared fiercely at the people below.
“K-Karasawa senpai!”
The previously aggressive Fujiwara immediately shrank his shoulders. Seeing that this guy named Karasawa was clearly a third-year senior, his attitude changed instantly.
He smiled flatteringly and said, “So senpai was here. I didn’t notice at all!”
Just being a third-year senior shouldn’t have made Fujiwara act like this. Who was this guy?
Karasawa?
Could it be that Karasawa Meisuke, the famous problem student of this school?
Some memories surfaced in his mind. The other party seemed to be a notorious delinquent at school, rumored to be particularly skilled in fighting. He also seemed to have an older brother from a violent gang’s combat faction.
In short, this was a very troublesome person.
“Who are you?”
Karasawa Meisuke jumped down. He stood up directly, revealing an extremely tall and large build.
For a high school student, his body was too muscular, with a large frame comparable to a wrestler. His bone joints in his limbs were thick; just looking at his physique, one could tell he was in great shape.
No wonder there were rumors that this guy was strong in fights.
“It’s you, senpai. Senpai, don’t you remember me? I met you last time with Tsutsuga big brother…”
Hearing Fujiwara’s words, Karasawa casually yawned.
“I see, I thought you looked somewhat familiar. So you’re Tsutsuga’s underling. But, kid, did you misunderstand something…”
Karasawa Meisuke put his hands in his pants pockets. He stood in front of Fujiwara and tapped him on the shoulder with his finger.
“Don’t think that just because you know Tsutsuga, you can act familiar with me. To be honest, it’s really troublesome. If you pretend to be chummy with me like this next time, don’t blame me for being rude… Also, this place is where I rest. Don’t bring a bunch of trash up here and disturb my sleep.”
His words made Fujiwara’s face change color several times, and he stepped back.
Fang Jing looked at the sky and felt that it was indeed getting late.
He didn’t have time to waste with a bunch of kids.
He shook off the hand of one of the lackeys that was placed on his shoulder and walked towards the staircase without looking back.
“Wait.”
The lackey, whose hand was pushed away and felt embarrassed, shouted viciously and tried to chase after him.
Fang Jing ignored what was happening behind him and quickly moved to the door. He reached out and grabbed it, only to find that the door was locked from the outside.
“What the hell!”
He pulled hard with hidden strength. The old door handle, due to lack of maintenance, couldn’t withstand the force at all. The entire handle seemed to shatter as he gripped it, and his excessive force caused the door to creak open with a loud noise.
With a snap, the wooden door handle broke off in his hand.
The athletic, short-haired guy keeping watch outside had probably heard the noise from above and was leaning against the door trying to listen to what was happening inside.
At that moment, the door was suddenly pulled open from behind. He lost his balance and fell forward into the room.
Fang Jing nimbly dodged out of the way, and the watch guy fell to the ground like a dog eating dirt.
Seeing this, Fang Jing shook his head, dropped the door handle in his hand, and calmly walked down the stairs.
However, his fearsome and shocking display of pulling off the entire door handle and latch with his bare hands was seen by several people. His mind was fully occupied with thinking about how to best utilize the golden finger ability he had gained.
