Chapter 84: The Fall of the Small Knife Society!
Chapter 84: The Fall of the Small Knife Society!
Tang Chen drove the Extravagant Battle Car to the school with Yang Mi. The super cool battle car immediately caught everyone’s attention.
Tang Chen parked the car in the school parking lot, opened the door, and got out with Yang Mi. The passing students around them immediately understood.
So it was Young Master Tang’s car. It sure was awesome. It definitely matched Young Master Tang’s style.
“Young Master Tang.” A male voice called out. Zeng Zhiseng, also known as Skinny Bamboo Pole, ran over. When he saw Yang Mi next to Tang Chen, he immediately greeted, “Hello, Sister-in-law!”
Tang Chen thought this guy was quite sensible, so he asked, “What are you doing here, kid?”
Zeng Zhiseng chuckled and said, “Young Master Tang, I went to the classroom and found you hadn’t arrived yet, so I thought I’d wait for you at the school gate. And sure enough, I found you! Pretty smart, right?”
“Smart my ass.” Tang Chen laughed and scolded him, then asked, “Why are you waiting for me here? Do you need something?”
Zeng Zhiseng said, “Young Master Tang, Big Brother Fang asked me to find you. He said he has something to report to you.”
It must be said that Zeng Zhiseng had been riding high recently. After following Young Master Tang and joining the Small Knife Society, he could now push around timid students.
Because of this, he felt even more grateful to Tang Chen. He often said, “Without Young Master Tang, there would be no me.”
Tang Chen frowned slightly, guessing that Fang Wenxin probably wanted to report about taking over the Small Knife Society. He glanced at Yang Mi beside him and smiled, saying, “Yang Mi, you go to class first. Your husband has some things to take care of.”
Yang Mi looked at him but didn’t ask any questions. She knew her man had many things to do. She just reminded him to be careful and not cause trouble before leaving.
“Young Master Tang, Sister-in-law is so gentle,” Zeng Zhi flattered.
Tang Chen grunted in agreement and said proudly, “Of course. Wouldn’t my woman be gentle? Why am I even talking to you about this? Hurry up and take me to see Fang Wenxin.”
“Yes, Young Master Tang.” Zeng Zhiseng replied, then led Tang Chen away.
Meanwhile, Yang Mi had almost reached the classroom. Suddenly, she saw a beautiful figure sitting in the pavilion. Her face lit up with joy, and she called out, “Xiaoqing!” Then she ran over.
Lu Xiaoqing quickly looked up when she heard the voice, her expression a bit awkward. After all, she had just tried to seduce Tang Chen two days ago. Even though nothing ultimately happened, she still felt a sense of betrayal toward Yang Mi and felt guilty seeing her.
But she quickly composed herself, smiled, and went to meet her, saying, “Yang Mi, why are you alone? Didn’t you come with Tang Chen?”
When she mentioned Tang Chen, Lu Xiaoqing’s heart ached strangely, feeling inexplicably sad.
Yang Mi smiled helplessly and said, “You know how he is. He’s always busy with things. Just now, one of his subordinates came to find him. What are you doing here?”
Lu Xiaoqing waved her Mobile Phone and said, “Just browsing Weibo. Something happened today—it’s said that Huang Tao, a member of the Asteroids, got beaten up by the boss of Junyue. Huang Tao is my idol, you know? What’s wrong with that boss? Why did he have to hit Huang Tao?”
Yang Mi’s mouth twitched, and her face stiffened. She forced a dry laugh and said, “Who knows? Maybe that boss just lost his mind…”
Let’s shift back to Tang Chen. Tang Chen, led by Zeng Zhi, arrived at Fang Wenxin’s classroom. Their class was having self-study at the time. The moment Tang Chen appeared, all the students in the class, both boys and girls, became restless.
It’s Young Master Tang—the one who threw away tens of millions on the Sports Ground!
“Big Brother Fang, Young Master Tang is here.” Zeng Zhiseng felt proud under everyone’s gaze. Look at me, I’m following Young Master Tang!
Fang Wenxin was startled. He looked up and was overjoyed. He hurried over and called out, “Young Master Tang, you’re finally here!”
Tang Chen responded indifferently with a grunt and said, “Skinny Bamboo Pole said you were looking for me. What’s the matter?”
Fang Wenxin explained, “Young Master Tang, it’s not convenient to talk here. Let’s find a quiet place.”
Tang Chen had no objection and said, “Fine. I’m not used to being stared at like a monkey either. Let’s go.”
Fang Wenxin nodded and said to Skinny Bamboo Pole, “Skinny Bamboo Pole, go to the other classes and call our brothers. Tell them Young Master Tang is here and to gather at the usual spot. Hurry!”
“Understood.” Zeng Zhiseng acknowledged, also nodded to Tang Chen, then turned and left.
Fang Wenxin gestured and said, “Young Master Tang, this way.”
Tang Chen grunted and was about to leave when a female teacher wearing square-framed glasses walked over. She said to Fang Wenxin and Tang Chen, “Fang Wenxin, what are you trying to do? We’re having self-study right now. Get back to the classroom! And you—you don’t seem to be from our class, do you? Little punk, don’t come here to corrupt the good students! Get out of here!”
Fang Wenxin’s expression changed. How dare this homeroom teacher speak ill of Young Master Tang! Just as he was about to retort, he saw Tang Chen sneer and strike back with a slap. The female teacher spun 360 degrees from the force and fell to the ground. He then kicked her in the face, and the Old Bitch passed out just like that.
“Too noisy.” Tang Chen snorted. Under Fang Wenxin’s admiring gaze, the two of them left the classroom. As for the other students, they were all utterly stunned…
Now that’s truly badass. Those spoiled rich kids from before are nothing compared to Young Master Tang…
Fang Wenxin led Tang Chen to an empty classroom. According to Fang Wenxin, this was where their Zhongmen Society held meetings. After a while, Yu Tianyi and the other members of the Zhongmen Society all arrived and greeted Tang Chen one by one.
Once everyone was seated, Tang Chen finally spoke, “Fang Wenxin, tell me, why did you ask me to come? Is it because the Small Knife Society hasn’t been taken over yet?”
Fang Wenxin stood up excitedly, bowed respectfully to Tang Chen, and said, “Young Master Tang, on behalf of all the brothers in our Zhongmen Society, including those who were injured, I thank you. After receiving your call yesterday, I took the brothers and started attacking the Small Knife Society’s territory. I thought we would face fierce resistance, but unexpectedly, the Small Knife Society members were caught completely off guard. It’s said that their Boss Hu Weidong has completely vanished!”
At this point, Fang Wenxin secretly glanced at Tang Chen. It was too coincidental—just after Young Master Tang said he would handle it himself that day, he received Tang Chen’s call the next day. At the time, what Tang Chen said on the phone sounded a bit confusing, but upon careful thought, Young Master Tang mentioned that the Small Knife Society would become leaderless. Did that mean something?
He wondered—did Young Master Tang eliminate Hu Weidong? That wasn’t impossible. Why would Hu Weidong disappear right after Tang Chen said those words, and not before? This made Fang Wenxin feel that something was off.
Tang Chen’s expression remained calm as still water. After all, he was the one who did it, so there was nothing to be surprised about. He spoke indifferently, “And then? Has the matter been resolved?”
Fang Wenxin snapped out of it. Though he found it strange, he didn’t dare ask since Young Master Tang didn’t bring it up. He continued, “It’s resolved. After Hu Weidong disappeared, the Small Knife Society fell into complete chaos. I led the brothers and took over their territory without any effort. Now, we’ve recruited most of the Small Knife Society members. It can be said that the Small Knife Society no longer exists.” By the end, all the Zhongmen Society members present were thrilled.
They had crushed the Small Knife Society so easily. This also vented their frustration over being ambushed by the Small Knife Society recently.
Tang Chen smiled slightly and nodded, saying, “That’s good that it’s resolved.” After saying this, Tang Chen started thinking to himself—this meant the task was more than halfway done. The next target was the second Gang—the most mysterious campus Gang. He suddenly realized that the High-level Mission wasn’t so difficult after all.
The rest didn’t need much explanation. Fang Wenxin reported the Zhongmen Society’s personnel arrangements and other matters to Tang Chen. Only then did Tang Chen leave with a smile, returned to his class, finished the day’s lessons with Yang Mi, and then the two left under everyone’s envious gazes.
Oh, and one more thing—the Principal had followed through on his promise and notified all the teachers that they were not allowed to question whether Tang Chen attended class or not. In fact, even without the Principal’s order, these teachers wouldn’t dare offend such an impressive figure. From then on, Tang Chen became a legend within the school.
Tang Chen and Yang Mi strolled around outside a bit and then returned home. Tang Chen’s suppressed anger over Huang Tao erupted again once he turned on the computer!
