Chapter 82: Kick Out Every Single One Who Comes!
Chapter 82: Kick Out Every Single One Who Comes!
Tang Chen’s words made Yang Mi smile bitterly. She really wanted to go forward and persuade Tang Chen not to be so harsh, but she also understood that once her man got this way, no one could stop him.
Huh? Why did she feel her man was acting crazy? Who knew.
“Old Pang!” Tang Chen had already withdrawn his foot by now. He called to Boss Pang, signaling him to come over.
“Ah! Young Master Tang. I’m here.” Boss Pang responded and quickly walked over, awaiting Tang Chen’s orders.
Tang Chen said, “Listen up! From now on, our Junyue is forbidden from serving such Korean idiots. Kick out every single one who comes!”
Everyone’s hearts skipped a beat. Was Young Master Tang declaring war on Korean entertainment? Was this necessary?
Boss Pang felt helpless too. He knew Young Master Tang did things based on his own moods. He dared not argue back.
“Yes, Young Master, you can rest assured. I will strictly carry out your order.” Boss Pang’s words firmly decided the matter. From now on, Junyue Grand Hotel would not welcome any star from Korea.
“I will get back at you, I will!” Huang Tao covered his blood-covered face, trembling as he stood up. Today’s events had made him lose all face.
“Get back at me? Why do I always hear such stupid words? And how many have actually managed to get back at me?” Tang Chen gave a bitter smile, already tired of dealing with meaningless threats.
Seeing Huang Tao’s stupid look, he lost all desire to keep hitting him. He shouted at Third Master Chen, “Chen Laosan! Stop fighting, damn it! Come here!”
Third Master Chen answered, then gave one more kick before telling his men to stop. He approached Tang Chen and asked, “Young Master Tang, what is it?”
Tang Chen pointed at Huang Tao and said coldly, “Throw this idiot and that stupid agent out of Junyue for me. I don’t want these fools dirtying my hotel!”
“You dare! You dare! Is there no rule of law?” Huang Tao’s loud shouting now sounded incredibly foolish.
Everyone thought, This guy’s IQ is embarrassingly low. Young Master Tang almost beat you to death, and you’re asking if he dares? Aren’t you asking for trouble?
Tang Chen couldn’t be bothered with more talk. He said to Third Master Chen, “Still waiting? You want me to do it myself?”
Third Master Chen gasped in shock, then grinned viciously. He grabbed Huang Tao by the collar, yanked him down, and kicked him again as he hit the floor. “Damn idiot. Daring to act tough in front of Young Master Tang? You’re looking for death! Brothers, throw these two pieces of trash out!”
“Yes, Third Master!”
“Coming! Throw them out to feed the dogs!” The gang members rushed forward. They lifted Huang Tao and the agent and, right in front of everyone, threw both out of Junyue Grand Hotel.
“Ow! Ow!” Huang Tao landed on the agent. Both groaned loudly in pain.
The agent grabbed Huang Tao’s arm worriedly. “Tao, are you okay?”
Huang Tao gritted his teeth. “I’m fine. But I will repay today’s humiliation!”
“Right! We’ll post about what happened today once we get back. Let our fans condemn them!” The agent, bruised and swollen, spoke angrily despite the pain.
“Hmm.” Huang Tao agreed, looking up angrily at Junyue’s entrance.
“Still looking, damn you? Get lost!” Two of Junyue’s security guards yelled angrily. They despised such idiots too. Act tough? See what you got from Young Master Tang!
“You bastard! I’m Huang Tao! Don’t you recognize me?” Huang Tao scrambled up, ready to shout insults.
“Recognize my foot! Who the hell are you? If you don’t leave, don’t blame us for being rude!” The security guards pulled out stun batons and turned them on.
This moron is hilarious. Asking if we recognize him? Does he think he’s Obama?
“Forget it, let’s go. A wise man knows not to fight when beaten.” The agent pulled Huang Tao away in shame. They were already beaten once. If two security guards hit them too, how could they keep working in China?
Back inside Junyue Hotel, the matter was settled. Tang Chen patted his hands lightly. “Alright, it’s resolved. Everyone, eat and drink. Don’t let a lunatic spoil the fun.”
“Okay, okay.”
“Young Master Tang, please enjoy too.” After all that, who really felt like eating? Most replies were half-hearted.
Tang Chen didn’t care at all. Whether they were sincere mattered nothing to him. He had settled his business.
Tang Chen looked at the journalists, then walked towards them. Seeing him approach, they instinctively tried to step back, afraid he might suddenly lash out and beat them too.
“You all find Old Pang after this ends. Each of you gets 100,000. Don’t say anything, don’t ask anything. Just take what this Young Master gives and be quiet. Remember – if I see any bad news about Junyue in tomorrow’s papers or online… I’ll come find you for a ‘chat’. Don’t doubt my ability to do this.” Tang Chen said this casually, then went to sit beside Yang Mi.
The journalists looked at each other, bewildered. They were smart enough to know: the 100,000 was hush money. Tang Chen was telling them: Take the money, shut up. Say one extra word? Wait for payback.
“Then we trouble you journalists. You heard Young Master Tang. Don’t leave in a hurry after it ends.” Tang Chen’s boldness made Boss Pang straighten his back too. Serving such a master gave him confidence.
The journalists dared not refuse. They didn’t want trouble with someone so powerful.
“Tang Chen, why are you still so reckless?” Yang Mi shot him a displeased look. She didn’t want to see him constantly causing trouble.
Tang Chen laughed lightly. “It’s really nothing. Wasn’t even reckless. I just didn’t like that fool.”
Yang Mi was left speechless by her man’s logic. Just because you disliked Huang Tao, you ruined him? Was this some kind of mental problem?
Of course, had Tang Chen known she thought this, he’d probably have taken her home for ‘punishment’.
Later things were simpler. After the memorial ceremony, Boss Pang indeed held the journalists back. Each collected their 100,000 nervously and left, Tang Chen’s warning echoing in their minds. They would likely have to force themselves to forget today’s events.
As for the bosses, each respectfully bid goodbye to Tang Chen before leaving.
Once finished, Tang Chen also left with Yang Mi. He drove her around the city. Absentmindedly asking her destination, Yang Mi replied she had nowhere special in mind. Just being with him was enough.
Tang Chen’s sweet talk warmed Yang Mi’s heart. He aimlessly kept driving her around town.
Meanwhile, in a rental apartment, Guo Huai sat on his bed eating instant noodles. Normally, someone with his father’s background should have had a nice place.
But misfortune strikes. After his father was beaten and investigated, he collapsed completely. The house was confiscated. Guo Huai went from Guo family young master… to this.
Creak!
The door opened. Three bruised foreigners walked in. Had Tang Chen been there, he’d have recognized them – the three lechers he beat last night.
“Boss, we’re back from training.” The tall foreigner spoke fluent English.
Guo Huai looked up at them coldly. Setting his noodles aside, he said, “Hmm. Good you’re back. Remember this: I brought you to China for help, not so you fools could harass women ruled by lust. If it happens again… I’ll make you run five more kilometers!”
