Chapter 50: Done Fighting? My Turn!
Chapter 50: Done Fighting? My Turn!
After the system’s radar was activated, Tang Chen’s eyes immediately saw a network of green dotted lines forming a radar display, with a clear yellow dot visible on it.
Tang Chen asked the System, “System, this yellow dot marks that idiot’s location, right?”
The System replied, “Yes, Host, that’s correct. You just need to follow the path shown on the radar to find him.”
Tang Chen nodded and rushed out the door eagerly. He couldn’t wait to find that idiot Yu Zeyuan, teach him a lesson, and test the power of the Enhancement Potion the System had given him.
Yu Zeyuan had no idea what was about to happen to him. At that moment, he was drinking at a bar. After hurting Tang Chen, it took him about an hour to recover from his exhausted state. His Boss had already gone home, and with nothing else to do, he ended up here to pick up girls.
That guy Yu Zeyuan was quite good-looking; not the pretty-boy type, but his long-term martial arts training had made him strong and muscular, which appealed to older women. In just over ten minutes after arriving, he was surrounded by one or two scantily dressed girls eyeing him with intense interest.
Following the radar’s path, Tang Chen found his way there. Even though it was daytime, the bar was still lively, and Tang Chen spotted Yu Zeyuan right away, flirting with the girls.
Tang Chen smirked viciously, then went to the bar and said to the bartender, “Miss, get me a few bottles of your best liquor.”
The bartender, used to working in this rowdy place, had sharp eyes. She could tell at a glance that Tang Chen wasn’t an ordinary guy. Though his clothes weren’t particularly luxurious, the aura he gave off was unmistakable—definitely not a regular person.
“Sir, our best liquor is XX III, priced at 150,000 per bottle. Would you like that?” Even though she sensed Tang Chen was unusual, the most expensive drinks ordered in the bar were usually around 10,000 or 20,000. For such an expensive bottle, she naturally had to confirm.
Tang Chen responded indifferently with an “Mm.” The price felt like pocket change to him. He took out his unlimited-balance black card and handed it to the girl, saying, “Get me two bottles. The PIN is the default, six zeros.”
The bartender put down the drink she had been skillfully preparing, took the black card, and smiled sweetly. “Of course, I’ll get your bottles right away.” She was thrilled—she had met a rich young master! Buying two 150,000 bottles in one go? Even business tycoons wouldn’t be that extravagant!
After a few minutes, the bartender returned carrying a glass in each hand. She respectfully set the drinks on the bar and handed the bank card back to Tang Chen, saying, “Sir, here is your card and the drinks you ordered.”
Tang Chen glanced at her briefly as he took them and suddenly felt something bulky. Opening his hand, he found, besides the black card, a crumpled note. He unfolded it and read: “I finish at 5 PM. Wait for me at the back door.”
Confused, Tang Chen looked up at the bartender, who winked at him suggestively before getting back to work.
“Is she hitting on me?” Tang Chen twitched his lips in annoyance. He was fed up with girls who worked in bars and clubs—seemed she thought he was rich and was trying to hook up with him. He’d always heard about gold-diggers, but he never expected to become one of their targets…
He tore up the note, dropped the pieces on the floor, then picked up a bottle in each hand and headed toward Yu Zeyuan. As he walked, he bit off the cap of one bottle, took a sip, and spit it out.
“What garbage! Selling for 150,000 and tastes like horse piss,” he grumbled, already sneaking up behind Yu Zeyuan, who was busy stroking a girl’s thigh. Suddenly, he heard a voice from behind: “Idiot, let me wash your hair!”
Splash!
Tang Chen stood behind Yu Zeyuan and poured the entire contents of the bottle in his right hand over Yu Zeyuan’s head, drenching him like a wet rat!
“Ah!” The girls flirting with Yu Zeyuan screamed, startled by the sudden scene.
“It’s you!” Yu Zeyuan wiped his face, set his drink on the table, and glared coldly at Tang Chen, shouting, “You bastard, you’re still alive?”
Yu Zeyuan was baffled. When he channeled his power, his strength was unbelievable. How could this guy, after taking his full-force punch, still be standing in front of him perfectly fine?
Tang Chen curled his lip and sneered, “You little idiot, of course I’m not dead. But you’re going to have a very bad day today.”
The girls around Yu Zeyuan sensed things were turning ugly and quickly scattered. The few other customers all focused their attention—bar fights were so common here that some were already used to it, calmly sitting back to watch the show.
“Tang Chen, even though my Boss told me not to go all out, trash like you only needs one hand for me to kill you!” Yu Zeyuan wasn’t boasting; as an Ancient Martial Artist, he really had that ability.
“Hah.” Tang Chen laughed scornfully. “You’re just a fart-mouthed idiot. If you hadn’t sneak-attacked me on the Basketball Court, do you think I would’ve been hurt? And you think one hand can kill me? What can your five fingers do besides help you jerk off?”
“Damn you!” Yu Zeyuan roared, leaping to his feet and clenching his fist, ready to strike.
“I’ll damn you first!” Tang Chen bellowed, smashing his bottle hard onto Yu Zeyuan’s head, then swiftly followed up with the Slapping Divine Palm, slapping him back several steps. Shards of glass stuck in his face, while alcohol and blood streamed down together.
“So brutal,” one male customer remarked. This young guy fought so fiercely—what kind of grudge was this?
Yu Zeyuan wasn’t taken down immediately. As an Ancient Martial Artist, he’d be way too weak if he couldn’t handle a hit like that!
“I’ll finish you now!” Yu Zeyuan’s forehead veins bulged, his invisible killing intent making those around shudder. He tapped into his hidden energy again and threw a punch at Tang Chen’s face.
“Bring it on! If I dodge, I’m a coward!” Tang Chen stood his ground and roared. He was gambling—betting that the Enhancement Potion really had made him stronger!
Thud!
It should have been fist meeting face, but the customers heard a sound like fist hitting steel—it defied logic!
Of course, Yu Zeyuan was the one most shocked. He clearly felt his bones shatter completely upon impact!
What the hell is going on? Shouldn’t I have sent him flying? Why did my bones break? Is his face even human? It’s like an iron wall!
Tang Chen’s heart swelled with excitement. This is amazing! I only half-believed it would work, taking his punch, but not only did I avoid a repeat of the Basketball Court scene, I completely blocked this idiot’s power.
“Done fighting? My turn!” Tang Chen snorted coldly. It was payback time! He grabbed Yu Zeyuan’s arm, twisted it slightly, and it instantly contorted like a twisty bread.
Crack!
“Argh!” Yu Zeyuan let out a scream. This so-called idiot Ancient Martial Artist was done for.
The other customers in the bar couldn’t help trembling. This kid was too vicious. They’d seen fights, but nothing like this—it was practically torture!
“You think you’re tough, huh? Daring to act cocky in front of me, and even hurting me? I’ll make you learn what true pain means!” Still furious, Tang Chen yanked Yu Zeyuan closer and delivered a powerful kick to his chest.
