Chapter 249: Meeting a Fellow Countryman Abroad
Chapter 249: Meeting a Fellow Countryman Abroad
Tang Chen never expected such terrible things to happen at this moment. Right now, he had only one thought: to fuck the female relatives of the System!
Fucking hell, this was truly a big international joke!
“Professor Shanima, wait, let me fetch you some dry tissues. Ah! Who are you?” Almost the instant Tang Chen appeared out of thin air, the flustered professors spotted him behind them. They were all stunned.
“Where did you come from, Chinese? What do you want?” Professor Shanima ignored his wet garment. Dammit, why did this Chinese suddenly appear in the lab? How did he get inside?
Tang Chen grinned bitterly and spread his hands helplessly. “No choice. Didn’t wanna kill you all originally. Now I have to act!”
Whoosh!
A gust of wind brushed past. Professor Shanima saw a fist blurring before his eyes—then expanding—before slamming into his face with a loud BANG. He flew backward and crashed into equipment.
“Damn it! Intruder! Hit the alarm!” Another professor shouted. The others snapped into action, scrambling toward the alarm.
“Hit your mom’s alarm!” Tang Chen cursed. He leaped into the air, smashing his knee into one man’s back. Following through, he kicked another professor down, then slapped a third hard across the face. Grabbing that one’s head, he shoved him violently into the last professor lunging for the alarm.
Two heavy thuds later, both bulky researchers were down, gasping on the floor.
“Trying to sound the alarm. Trash. Young Master’s only here to reclaim what belongs to our country. Stay put if you wanna live!” Tang Chen didn’t care if these idiots understood Chinese. His intimidation would suffice.
“Fool! Know where you are? You’re dead! You’ll never leave!” Professor Shanima finally struggled up. Then he spotted the flash drive in Tang Chen’s hand and roared, “Damn it! You Chinese thug came to steal the data!”
“Not stealing! Taking back what’s ours! It’s justified!” Tang Chen snorted coldly. He dashed forward, grabbed Shanima by the throat, and punched him brutally several times. His voice was icy: “Lead Young Master out. Young Master knows you have status here. Those idiot guards won’t want to see you die.”
“Damn you! Kill me and you won’t escape!” Though Shanima didn’t understand the words, the meaning was clear—he was a hostage!
“Wanna die? Young Master grants your wish!” Tang Chen growled. He slammed Shanima’s head into the steel door. CRUNCH! Shanima’s head cracked open like a watermelon. Blood splattered everywhere as his body collapsed.
“Oh God! He killed Professor Shanima! The maniac!” The other four professors screamed in panic. Just useless fat-loaded fools, they’d never witnessed such brutality.
Tang Chen gave them a frosty glance, indifferent. He strode over, beating them down swiftly. Grabbing the shortest professor, he smashed his head straight into the alarm button.
Wooo! Wooo!
The piercing alarm screamed. Soldiers outside raced in. The moment they typed the code and the steel door hissed open… Tang Chen burst out like a tiger pouncing! Two swift punches sent two soldiers flying. He kicked one hard between the legs, snatched his rifle before he could react, swung it against his skull, then finished with a Whip Kick launching him over a railing. CRASH! That one probably got flattened.
Everything happened too fast. These elite soldiers were down before they knew it. Tang Chen sprinted into an elevator.
“Catch him! He grabbed the nuclear missile data! Don’t let him leave!” The professors yelled, half-dead. If the data was stolen, all was lost.
“Goddammit!” One soldier bellowed into his walkie-talkie. “All units! Chinese intruder in the Pentagon! Stole nuclear missile data! Repeat! Chinese stole nuclear missile data in Pentagon! Apprehend him! Contain him inside!”
The order blared out. Every soldier in the building surged into action. The search began instantly. The breach was too critical—he couldn’t escape!
Chief Instructor Tom of the SEALs jogged into Minister Jackson’s office, flustered. “Minister! Crisis! Some Chinese broke in! Stole the nuclear missile data!”
“What?!” Jackson flipped his desk over. He grabbed Tom’s collar, snarling, “How?! What are your troops eating? How’d you let a Chinese in?”
Tom answered timidly, “Minister, patrols and cameras detected nothing. I’m baffled myself. Did he fly in?”
“Fly in?! Bullshit!” Jackson punched Tom to the floor, hopping mad. “Idiot! It’s the 21st century! You think flying is science?! Doesn’t matter! That Chinese cannot have that data! Mobilize all Pentagon guards! Full SEAL deployment! Shut down every elevator! DefCon-One lockdown! Scan every camera! Turn this place inside out! I want him found! He cannot leave the Pentagon alive!”
“Yes, Minister!” Tom stood rigidly, saluted, then rushed out.
Jackson frowned, pondering. Something felt wrong. Just when China pretended to be the Red Army demanding money for Wang Jianfeng… where did this man come from?
“The Pentagon’s secure. Any intruder would’ve been spotted. Unless it’s a mole?” But Jackson couldn’t crack the means of entry. Did he really just appear?
The Pentagon exploded into chaos. Elevators halted. Research ceased. Stone-faced SEALs dashed everywhere. Top officials crammed the surveillance room. All knew: One intruder. Chinese. Find him fast.
“Team One—sector C! Teams Two and Three—A and B! Rest with me sweep inner zones! Target is highly skilled! Dead or alive!” Tom barked orders, gun ready. America’s fiercest troops flooded the Pentagon.
A whole army to catch one Chinese. Tang Chen made history.
Where was he now? Tang Chen looked ragged, ducking like a mouse chased by cats. Constant vigilance: soldiers hunting, cameras swiveling.
He slipped into an emergency passage—Pentagon’s only blind spot. Below: toilets. Tang Chen sighed bitterly. People who forced Tang Chen’s retreat? Big Nose idiots, you’re the first.
Thinking. Tang Chen acknowledged his plan unraveled. All because that damned System. If the “Invincible Cloak” hadn’t malfunctioned, he wouldn’t be trapped now.
“Oh honey, anyone watching?”
“None. I’m lonely. Quick!”
Tang Chen jumped at the sudden voices. A couple slunk toward the restroom. Outside, they embraced; he lifted her thigh. Action pending.
Eyes glinting, Tang Chen crept up. One chopping strike paralyzed the man’s neck. Covering the woman’s mouth, he dragged her into the restroom.
“Don’t scream. Young Master avoids hurting innocents!” Tang Chen said coldly. Only then he noted: Her hair was yellow, but she was Chinese.
“Mmmph!” The woman’s eyes flashed terror.
“You’re Chinese?” Tang Chen lowered his hand. “Since you are, Young Master won’t kill you. Promise not to shout.”
She nodded, gathering herself. “You’re… the one SEALs are hunting? Said you stole nuclear data?”
Tang Chen frowned seriously. “Not stealing. This nuclear missile data belongs to China. You—why are you here?”
“I work in Translation.” She replied. “I won’t question your motives. Fellow Chinese—I won’t report you. But… how will you escape?”
Touched by her concern, Tang Chen teased: “Shared nation. Shared blood. Young Master is grateful for no report. Escape plan? I’m thinking. Know any safe spot? Help me hide.”
After a pause, she suggested: “My office ahead. Secure. Hidden.”
Tang Chen hummed agreement. About to move… he suddenly looked away. “Pull your underwear up first. Otherwise, Young Master feels awkward looking.”
Her face flushed crimson. She remembered the pre-intimacy moment. Nervously, she explained: “He’s my boyfriend. Good man.”
Tang Chen nodded nonchalantly. “Young Master knows. Here only for nuclear data return. Innocents unharmed. To your office now.”
“Ok.” She led Tang Chen to her office sanctuary.
