Yuanyang’s eyes tightened, and with a graceful turn of her beautiful eyes, she indeed spotted a black car that had appeared in front of Wang Jianfeng’s villa at some unknown time. Two foreign men in black suits stepped out of the car.
Both men were about 190 centimeters tall, with robust builds. They looked like masters among bodyguards.
Not long after the two foreigners appeared, a middle-aged man walked out of Wang Jianfeng’s villa. He was slightly plump and greeted the two foreigners with a smile. Within a minute, he got into their car and left directly.
“Follow them, Yuanyang, but don’t get too close.” Tang Chen knew that man was the traitor Wang Jianfeng and spoke coldly.
Yuanyang let out a proud hum, stepping on the accelerator as she said, “Don’t worry, I’ve done this kind of thing many times. I won’t be a burden to you.”
Tang Chen gave an awkward chuckle. This woman really held a grudge, it seemed.
Nighttime in Washington was exceptionally bustling. The car carrying Wang Jianfeng didn’t drive long on the downtown roads before turning onto a side road. Yuanyang kept the car following at a distance of about a hundred meters—the safest distance, allowing them to react if anything happened.
Tang Chen rubbed his chin and suddenly thought of something. He said to Yuanyang, “Yuanyang, don’t you think it’s a bit strange? Black Fox said there wasn’t just one car picking up Wang Jianfeng. I remember we saw another car driving alongside it on the right earlier. Where did that car go now?”
Hearing this, Yuanyang immediately sensed something was wrong. She glanced in the rearview mirror and frowned, saying, “Tang Chen, I think those agents might have already spotted us.”
Tang Chen’s heart jumped. Looking through the rearview mirror, he indeed saw that the car that had been in front of them earlier had somehow ended up behind them!

Yuanyang quickly asked, “Tang Chen, what should we do now? Fight? But the two of us are no match for them.”
Tang Chen didn’t answer right away. He looked ahead and noticed the car had reached a mountainous road—the kind that felt very steep.
Tang Chen thought for a moment and said to Yuanyang, “Yuanyang, take the mountain road. Lure them over.”
Yuanyang was startled and instinctively objected, “No, that mountain road doesn’t lead to the Pentagon. It has many sharp turns, and there’s a huge waterfall below. It’s very dangerous.”
Tang Chen shouted, “Listen to me. It’s the right move. Hurry and turn in—I have a plan!”
Yuanyang gritted her teeth and drove the car onto the mountain road. The car behind them didn’t stop either, trailing closely, sticking tight.
Tang Chen chuckled and said, “Yuanyang, do you know what these guys will do once they find us?”
Yuanyang didn’t understand why Tang Chen was still in the mood to joke at a time like this. She said angrily, “Of course, they’ll kill us!”
“Exactly!” Tang Chen shouted, suddenly moving Yuanyang’s foot aside and slamming on the brake.

Because of the sudden brake, the car behind couldn’t stop in time and rammed straight into Tang Chen and Yuanyang’s vehicle. The huge impact sent their car flying, and with a splash, it plummeted into the waterfall below, sending water spraying high into the air.

The agents’ car door opened, and two foreigners stepped out. The one on the right looked down at the waterfall, then took out his mobile phone to make a call. As soon as the other side answered, he immediately said, “Boss, the people following us have been taken care of. You can take Wang Jianfeng to the building now.” After saying that, the two drove off again.
Right after the two agents left, two figures suddenly leaped up from below the cliff. It was Tang Chen and Yuanyang!

Yuanyang glared at Tang Chen angrily. This man—he had saved her, so she should feel grateful, but his words made it impossible to feel any gratitude.
“Fine, stop rushing me. You’re so young, yet you always act like you’ve got everything under control. Next time you have a plan, at least give me a heads-up.” Yuanyang complained as she walked, clearly unhappy with Tang Chen taking matters into his own hands.
Tang Chen shrugged. He had done many heroic things. If he hadn’t been with Yuanyang tonight, even if he had really fallen into the waterfall with those two villains, so what? Did anyone think a waterfall could hurt Tang Chen?
By the time the two returned to the base, it was already deep into the night. Black Fox and the others hadn’t slept; they were waiting anxiously. With the captain and Tang Chen not back, how could they sleep early?
“Captain, Tang Chen, you’re back.” After all, they were brothers in the same team. Even if there had been some tension in the morning, they still cared.
Yuanyang gave a soft “Mm,” then took off her outer jacket, revealing only a small vest. She took a sip of soda, still shaken, and said, “I’m never going on a mission with Tang Chen again. He’s not on a mission—he’s risking his life.”
Tang Chen grinned and then said, “Black Fox, I think you have a map of the area around the Pentagon, right? Bring it out.”
Black Fox didn’t understand why, but seeing the captain didn’t object, he quickly pulled out his computer and brought up the map, boasting, “I hacked into the Big Nose’s Department of Defense System to get this. It’s the only one in the world.”
Tang Chen laughed heartily and carefully studied the map. He noticed the detailed markings about the Pentagon’s area and other obvious details, then pointed to a spot and said to Yuanyang, “Yuanyang, earlier we used binoculars to observe the Pentagon from this place, right?”
Yuanyang came over to look and said, “Yes, it was here.”

Tang Chen snapped his fingers and said with a smile, “I’ve got an idea. Come look here. The place where Yuanyang and I observed the Pentagon is here, and not far ahead is a small valley. This valley isn’t big. After passing through it, you can reach the Pentagon directly.”

Tang Chen nodded and then shrewdly said, “Simple—four words: catch them in a trap!”
All five people present were smart and grasped the idea immediately. Yuanyang was the first to say, “You don’t mean to set up an ambush here tomorrow when Wang Jianfeng passes through, do you? That’s a bit too difficult. As we’ve said, we have no people and no guns. How do we fight?”
An ambush was indeed a good idea, but the objective conditions were against them. They had the intention but not the capability.
