These four people were the bodyguards from Liu Tianze’s household — the very ones Liu Yanran had just told Tang Chen were following her.
When Liu Yanran saw these four, her expression instantly changed. Then she coldly snapped, “What are you doing here? What, Liu Tianze locked my mother away, and now he wants to control my freedom too?”
“Miss, we dare not comment on such matters as subordinates. Just come back with us quietly. Let’s escort Miss away,” the lead bodyguard commanded. Then the four bodyguards behind him shifted, ready to grab Liu Yanran.

“Fine, then I won’t kill this asshole.” Tang Chen curled his lips, released his grip, and instantly kicked the bodyguard captain in the temple. With a thump, his body hit the wall; it was clear he had blacked out.
Liu Yanran sighed helplessly, then said to the other four still-conscious bodyguards: “Don’t follow me anymore. Go back and tell Liu Tianze: I’m not his slave. I’ll go wherever I want.”
Tang Chen said to Liu Yanran, “Police Sister, no need for them to tell him — let’s go find him directly. Doesn’t he want to arrest you and bring you back? Fine, let’s go back and lay all the cards on the table. I want to see — is there no law in this world?!” He said, pulling Liu Yanran as they left the private room.
The four bodyguards looked at each other, groaning in pain. One of them took out his mobile phone and said to the other end: “Tell the master, the young lady refuses to come back, and she brought along a tough guy.”
The scene shifted to Tang Chen’s car. Liu Yanran worriedly said to Tang Chen, “Tang Chen, are you really coming in with me? It could be dangerous.”

The car drove all the way to Maple Leaf Manor — this was Liu Tianze’s home. From afar, Tang Chen saw a checkpoint set up at the main gate, with two armed police holding guns standing guard.
As soon as they saw Tang Chen’s car had an unfamiliar license plate, they immediately stepped out in front, signaling for Tang Chen to stop. Tang Chen completely ignored them — fucking telling me to stop for inspection, who the hell do you think you are!
He floored the gas, the car accelerated and crashed right through. The two armed police were so scared they nearly broke down, scrambling aside. Bang! The Extravagant Battle Car smashed right through the barrier pole and stopped steadily in front of the villa.
