Chapter 197: Du Hongde’s Request!

Governor Ha’s forehead was covered in cold sweat. He did not doubt the truth in Tang Chen’s words at all. If someone could easily enter his study, that person could definitely kill him without any trouble.

“Okay, okay, just say it. I’ll agree to any condition!” Governor Ha was truly scared now. His status as Governor meant nothing. When faced with someone who wasn’t afraid to die, who would dare act tough?

Tang Chen held up three fingers and said, “Three demands. First, reinstate Chen Mingdi as the Police Bureau Chief. Second, don’t bother Chen Mingdi and Liu Yanran again. Tang Chen whistled as he walked out of the Governor’s house. The sky was gradually getting brighter. Tang Chen wasn’t familiar with Jingdu anyway. He figured Yang Mi would be waking up soon, so he decided to head back.

His mobile phone rang. Tang Chen took it out and saw it was an unknown number. He answered it and asked softly, “Hello? Who is this?”

A hearty laugh came from the other end. “Young Tang, it’s me, Du Hongde. Do you remember?”

Du Hongde? Tang Chen didn’t expect his call. This was really surprising. Ever since their argument over the hospital room last time, they hadn’t had any contact.

Although the last incident ended well for both sides, Tang Chen didn’t have any special impression of Du Hongde. However, the Old Master was a nice guy, always cheerful. So, Du Hongde calling him was unexpected.
