Chapter 168: Young Tang, It’s All Up to You!
Chapter 168: Young Tang, It’s All Up to You!
At that moment, a black car was parked outside Li Zheyu’s house. Two plainclothes police officers sat inside, carefully observing the surroundings of Li Zheyu’s home. They were there for what was called protecting Li Zheyu and his mother.
“System, right now, no one can see Young Master, right?” Tang Chen had already walked right up in front of the car the plainclothes police officers were sitting in. While looking at the two stern-faced officers inside, he jokingly spoke to the System in a mischievous tone.
The System gave an affirmative sound. It said, “Respected Host, indeed, even if you relieved yourself on the street right now, no one would notice your presence.”
“Damn it, you stupid System, a dog’s mouth can’t spit out ivory! You’re the one who would relieve yourself on the street! Young Master just wanted to mess with these two idiot cops.” Tang Chen scolded the System in annoyance. Why did this foolish thing always have such filthy thoughts in its head?
The System responded in a very matter-of-fact way: “Respected Host, even if this System wanted to relieve itself, it couldn’t. Because if this System did that, it would all be excreted right inside your brain.”
“Shut up! Screw your little cousin.” Tang Chen felt disgusted and let out a loud curse. Some readers might be snacking right now—what if they puked because of what you said?
Tang Chen stopped paying attention to the foolish System. He sneered, then walked right up to the front of the car. With a loud shout, he threw a punch and smashed it hard onto the hood of the police car. With a bang, the force of his fist was so strong it directly made a dent in the hood.
“Damn it, what happened?” Both police officers cursed at the same time. They looked outside, but there was no one there. They quickly got out of the car and went to the front, only to find a dent made by a fist on their car’s hood.
“Damn, who did this? They ran off pretty fast.” One of the police officers yelled angrily. Clearly, he thought someone had played a prank and then run away.
Tang Chen, standing right in front of the police, curled his lips and smiled. So being invisible was this much fun—these two big idiots.
“Respected Host, this System really doesn’t want to interrupt you, but please don’t forget: your invisibility only lasts for half an hour. Five minutes have already passed.” The System seemed to enjoy throwing cold water on Tang Chen just when he was excited. Now it was doing it again.
Tang Chen slapped his own head. Right, he was having so much fun he forgot about the important matter. Without delaying any further, he directly went into Li Zheyu’s house.
Li Zheyu’s house was relatively well-off for the countryside. Tang Chen went through the main hall and walked straight ahead. He found that neither Li Zheyu nor his mother seemed to be home. Had they gone out?
Never mind that, finding the thing he needed was more important. Tang Chen thought that usually for this kind of nouveau riche, if they hid something important, it was generally kept in a safe. So he went straight into the bedroom, boldly opened the door, and sure enough, he found a safe near the nightstand.
“It really is here. Young Master really has a talent for being a thief.” He chuckled, then immediately dismissed that thought. No, this originally belonged to Young Master—Young Master was just taking it back.
Crouching in front of the safe, Tang Chen felt troubled. This safe had a six-digit combination lock. Without the code, there was no way he could open it. He thought about just taking the whole safe away, but a safe floating in mid-air would be way too obvious.
What to do? Tang Chen started thinking it over. Just then, footsteps came from outside. Tang Chen wasn’t panicked—he was invisible right now, so others couldn’t see him.
“My little darling, hurry up.” The door opened. Li Zheyu pulled in a girl who was only wearing a bra. After closing the door, he pushed the girl onto the bed.
Tang Chen frowned. Judging by the situation, was Young Master about to witness a live show again?
“Little darling, you’re killing me with temptation.” Li Zheyu was clearly a hungry wolf when it came to women. He directly took off his own clothes and threw them on the floor, then pounced on the girl while naked, touching and grabbing all over.
The girl giggled seductively. Then, just as Li Zheyu was about to enter her, she gently pushed him away, breathed out softly, and said, “Young Master Li, you still haven’t paid me for the overnight session last time.”
Mentioning that made Li Zheyu feel a bit stingy. He slapped the girl’s butt, making a sound not suitable for children. “You still dare bring that up? Three thousand two for one night, and you still wouldn’t give a blowjob. Last time wasn’t satisfying at all. If you serve me well this time, I’ll give you a hundred thousand.”
A trace of contempt flashed in the girl’s eyes, but she didn’t expose him. Instead, she said, “Young Master Li, you usually only give a few hundred. Why are you offering so much all of a sudden?”
Li Zheyu felt he was being looked down on, so he said unhappily, “What do you know? Didn’t I tell you last time that I squeezed a million out of some idiot? Too bad my mom took the money. This time, I went with my mom to sue that idiot again, demanding two hundred and fifty thousand in compensation. My mom agreed that this time, all fifty thousand would be mine. Giving you a hundred thousand later would be nothing.”
Tang Chen’s face darkened. This jerk really needed a beating—he actually treated Young Master as an easy target. Looks like this idiot had forgotten the lesson from last time. If it weren’t for Young Master wanting to leave a good impression on Yang Mi’s mom last time, would Young Master have let him off so easily?
The girl believed Li Zheyu. She planted a wet kiss on Li Zheyu’s face and laughed very wantonly, “Young Master Li, last time you told me you already had someone steal back that receipt. So this lawsuit is definitely going to be won. I’ll congratulate you in advance on making a fortune.”
Li Zheyu laughed heartily and didn’t waste any more time. With a thrust of his “spear,” he directly entered the girl.
Tang Chen watched as an R-rated scene was about to unfold right in front of him. He sneered coldly, then walked over to the nightstand, picked up the landline telephone, and smashed it down on the girl’s head.
The girl had been screaming loudly in pleasure. Getting hit by the telephone like that, she immediately passed out. When Li Zheyu heard the bang, he was so scared he nearly “delivered the goods” on the spot.
“What the hell! What happened? How did the phone fly over all of a sudden?” Li Zheyu pulled out and stood up. Picking up the phone, he was completely baffled. The phone had been sitting properly on the nightstand—why did something like this happen?
Tang Chen sneered again, then kicked Li Zheyu in the abdomen, sending him falling to the floor. He took out the Compliance Spray and sprayed it once into Li Zheyu’s mouth.
It all happened too fast. Li Zheyu felt like he had seen a ghost. He was standing fine one moment, then the next he was kneeling on the ground. Before he could even let out a scream, the Compliance Spray had already entered his mouth.
His head became dazed, his vision went dark, and Li Zheyu passed out on the spot.
“Respected Host, what exactly are you trying to do?” The System was a bit confused by Tang Chen’s actions. Didn’t he come to get the receipt? Why did it suddenly turn into teaching someone a lesson?
“You don’t need to understand right now. You’ll get it when the trial starts tomorrow.” Tang Chen gave a bloodthirsty smile. He already had a plan in mind.
Ten minutes later, Tang Chen swaggered out of the Li house again. After he was out of the police officers’ sight, he took off the Invincible Cloak he was wearing and put it into his pocket.
“Mission accomplished. Now just wait to play these two idiots to death tomorrow.” Tang Chen smiled contentedly. Having finished what he needed to do, he felt carefree.
“Heh.” The System in his mind let out a cold laugh. Having witnessed the whole process, it once again understood a deeper level of its Host’s cunning. He was planning to ruin the other party.
After returning to the supermarket at Yang Mi’s house, Tang Chen found that Yang Mi’s father had also returned. This honest, simple man was currently clutching his own hair in distress, trying to think of a solution. Yang Mi was beside him, comforting him softly.
“Yang Mi, Uncle.” Tang Chen called out, then walked in with light footsteps.
“Tang Chen, you’re back. Where did you go?” Yang Mi went up to him, took his arm, and immediately asked. Father Yang, meanwhile, gave Tang Chen a slight nod.
Tang Chen smiled but didn’t directly answer Yang Mi’s question. Instead, he walked up to Father Yang and said seriously, “Uncle Yang, please don’t worry. We will definitely win the lawsuit tomorrow. Believe me, I will absolutely not let Yang Mi or you all get hurt.”
Father Yang sighed, then firmly shook Tang Chen’s hand and said, “Young Tang, it’s all up to you.”
