Chapter 246: A Big Slap

Night.

Gravekeeper’s small room.

Ye Chen pressed a diamond-shaped crystal into his chest. As it fused, magnetic energy surged through him, making metal objects in the room float. His heart pounded like war drums, blood burned fiercely, and his Vitality forcibly skyrocketed to inhuman levels.

Planetary Level!

A violent magnetic field burst from him, piercing the walls to engulf the entire cemetery. Ye Chen compressed the energy, slowly pulling it back. Freed from gravity’s grip, he floated like a specter through the room before hovering midair.

“A hundred times stronger? Absurd.”

Feeling the energy swirling around him, Ye Chen analyzed how this power differed from Fighting World’s combat systems. He’d always dismissed energy-based cultivation, but now saw every path held value when mastered.

“Planetary Level’s just the start. Then come Stellar, Galactic, Realm Master, and Cosmic Levels. This world’s depths… the Fighting World can’t compare.”

Finally, Ye Chen grasped why his master and Old Ancestor called this place the Great World!

The Great World (Celestial Realm) stood as the Material Realm’s pinnacle. Here, some forces reached absolute perfection—unlike small worlds or Middle Worlds. The gap resembled infants versus adults.

“High-tier knowledge’s locked by the Galactic Federation. To advance past Planetary Level, you must join them.”

Ye Chen cataloged tomb-raided records. The elites’ burial diaries mentioned power tiers but erased cultivation methods. Only fragmented Planetary Level insights remained, pieced together from ancient graves. Higher levels were mere names.

“For ordinary people, refusing the Federation means stagnation.”

Joining wasn’t an option. Not until he found the decapitation culprit. Too risky.

“Players could be the key.”

If Players joined the Federation, he’d simply “borrow” their knowledge via quests or Favorability later.

Buzz!

A surveillance pulse flickered nearby—brief, stealthy. Previously undetectable, Ye Chen now crushed it effortlessly. Magnetic force yanked the hidden device into his palm, crumpling it into scrap.

“Spying on me? Let’s see what you recorded.”

He absorbed the data directly into his mind. Planetary Level enhanced both strength and energy manipulation.

“Count’s mansion?”

His body dissolved into particles.

Count’s mansion.

A humanoid monstrosity dripping green liquid shuffled through the gates.

The guards originally stationed at the entrance lay motionless in the toxic water. After entering the Count’s mansion and confirming the absence of guards, the green liquid covering the creature gradually withdrew, revealing its true form – a bizarre figure wearing a dark brown biochemical suit and an isolation helmet.

“Even the guards are gone? Has the Angrier family declined this badly?”

The infiltrating bio-entity never expected the so-called Count’s mansion to be in such state. Apart from the entrance guards, there weren’t any proper protectors inside. The family truly seemed ruined. Yet even so, those in power wouldn’t spare this widow and orphan, demonstrating their cold-blooded nature.

“Failure in the power game demands payment. After tonight, this family that prospered for millennia will vanish completely.”

Data streams flashed across the bio-entity’s visor.

The information finally stabilized into two arrows pointing toward the living quarters of An Lier and her daughter.

“Time to end your journey.”

Approaching the residence, the bio-entity detected two heat signatures through helmet sensors. After confirming targets, it raised its arm as green liquid oozed from its suit surface.

“Whose journey ends?”

A voice materialized behind the bio-entity.

Without any warning.

“Who?!”

The bio-entity shuddered violently, its surface liquid rippling.

The visor display erupted into chaotic data bursts, even showing garbled code.

Impossible!

This was the Federation’s most advanced combat suit!

Despite shock, the bio-entity reacted swiftly. Dropping low, its body dissolved into green liquid that flowed to a corner before reforming.

Only then did it see its challenger.

A young man.

Utterly ordinary.

Common features.

A nobody? Impossible – ordinary people would’ve been detected. This person evaded sensors, clearly no commoner.

“An ability user?”

The bio-entity recalled those odd “Players” who wielded strange “Skills” to avoid detection. During the mansion disturbance days earlier, similar tricks had been used.

If this was a Player, no threat.

Authorities already monitored these weak, untrained upstarts. No match for strong individuals like itself.

The bio-entity smirked beneath its mask.

“Ability user? Bad luck for you!”

Finished speaking, its arm liquefied, firing streams of green poison. The “Player” should dissolve instantly. Target eliminated, the bio-entity refocused on the mother and daughter inside.

They were the true objectives.

This random casualty meant nothing – it had disposed of countless such extras.

As the bio-entity prepared to strike, a thunderous slap exploded against its head. The impact deformed its helmet, sending it flying like trash to smash against a wall, splattering into green ooze.

Who…?

Where…?

What hit…?

Dazed, the bio-entity slowly reformed. Its vision doubled, head ringing – testament to the slap’s ferocity.

“I was talking to you!”

Through blurred vision, the bio-entity saw that peculiar Player reappear.
