Sun Lei looked back and saw a dense, dark mass of people appearing in the distance. It seemed the Doomsday Ark Alliance was determined to dominate the Black Water Lake. Unless Sun Lei truly gave up the benefits of the Black Water Lake, the two sides would likely fight to the death.
“Brothers, into the water,” Sun Lei roared, a strange smile appearing on his face.

“They must have found the real entrance to the Village of Sacrifice,” the Black-robed Man thought with certainty.
“Move quickly, follow them,” the Black-robed Man commanded, waving his hand.
The group rushed eagerly toward the Black Water Lake.
Once underwater, their field of vision narrowed significantly. The Black-robed Man could only vaguely see the figures of a group of people swimming swiftly ahead in the distance.
“Stay close to them, don’t fall behind.”
The Black-robed Man was a High Priest of the Doomsday Ark Alliance. Unlike the Thunder Martial Hall, all the alliance’s Strength was concentrated in Linhai City and the surrounding cities.
The alliance had only three High Priests, two Bishops, and one Archbishop.
As a High Priest, the Black-robed Man’s innate ability was an SR-grade Communication Skill, allowing him to communicate with any chosen plane.

“This is the entrance to the Village of Sacrifice. Only villagers of the Village of Sacrifice may enter and exit freely…”

“1. Give up entering; 2. Force entry; 3. Declare war to seize.”
“Dammit, someone beat me to it,” the Black-robed Man thought furiously.
Choosing to give up was impossible. Declaring war was equivalent to declaring war on the Thunder Martial Hall. Although the Black-robed Man, as a High Priest of the Doomsday Ark Alliance, had the authority to declare war on behalf of the alliance, he dared not do so without consulting the higher-ups—unless he had a death wish.
“Force entry,” the Black-robed Man said through gritted teeth.
The originally white-glowing Light Gate suddenly turned red.
“Forcing entry will incur the hostility of the Village of Sacrifice. Please reconsider carefully…”
“Force entry!” the Black-robed Man roared, his eyes turning red with burning rage.
This opportunity should have been his, but someone had taken it first. He wanted to seize it back.
“It’s mine, it should be mine.”
The moment after he shouted to force entry, a dragon’s roar came from behind.
The black-scaled Flood Dragon had, unnoticed, circled behind the group. Its lantern-like eyes stared at everyone with a hint of excitement.
“Three-Star… Lord monster, run~”
Everyone who saw the Flood Dragon’s massive body was stunned at first. It took them a while to react. After someone shouted, they all scattered and fled. The morale they had painstakingly built instantly vanished without a trace.

A barrage of ice arrows appeared out of nowhere, cutting through the water in the Black Water Lake and striking those who were fleeing.

The Flood Dragon let out a mighty roar, and a visible sonic wave spread out. Everyone within the wave’s range froze simultaneously. Then, huge damage numbers floated above their heads. Some people’s bodies even exploded on the spot, their Health Points instantly emptying, plunging them into a Near-Death State.
“How is this possible? How can there be a village guardian beast? That Xu Feng didn’t kill the guardian beast, so how did he enter the village?” The Black-robed Man stared in disbelief as the Flood Dragon wreaked havoc.
“Screech~”
A dragon’s cry rang out, and a ring of white ice shards emanated from the Flood Dragon’s body, rapidly spreading outward.

Everyone touched by the ice shards turned into ice blocks, floating in the Black Water Lake.
The Flood Dragon leisurely swam up to one “ice block,” opened its large mouth, and swallowed the entire block whole.

After devouring one ice block, the Flood Dragon moved toward another.
By the time it had eaten over twenty, the “ice blocks” simultaneously shattered. Everyone, ignoring the “Frozen” status in their Status Bar, frantically swam toward the shore.
“Impossible, impossible. It’s mine, it should be mine.” The Black-robed Man’s eyes were bloodshot, his expression turning ferocious.
“If I can’t have it, no one will.” The Black-robed Man suddenly turned around, pressing both hands against the Light Gate.
“I, on behalf of the Doomsday Ark Alliance, declare war!” the Black-robed Man screamed.
