Seeing Tang Chen speak to the security guards so casually and, more importantly, noticing how respectfully they treated him, Yang Mi was completely confused. She couldn’t figure this man out anymore. Was this really the same loser she knew?
Just as she was about to ask something, Tang Chen had already pulled Yang Mi into Junyue. A waitress in a cheongsam saw him arrive and immediately bowed respectfully, calling out in unison, “Young Master Tang!” The grand gesture made all the dining customers look over. They wanted to know who could receive such treatment.
Some customers who had witnessed Young Master Guo getting beaten up last time also understood when they saw this young man. So it was the boss who had arrived, no wonder.
Tang Chen grunted in acknowledgment. Then a middle-aged man hurried over and said to Tang Chen, “Young Master Tang, why did you come so suddenly without calling ahead? If you had, I could have prepared for you in advance.”
Tang Chen waved his hand with a smile and said, “No need, Boss Pang. This Young Master is a low-key person. This time, I just want to have a simple meal here with my classmate. We don’t even need a private room; we’ll just eat in the main hall.”
Boss Pang didn’t dare to go against Tang Chen’s wishes and could only agree, “Yes, Young Master Tang. Then let me find you a seat here, and I’ll have someone prepare the food right away.”
Tang Chen grunted again, then followed Yang Mi to sit by the window. Boss Pang left to make preparations.
Yang Mi snapped out of her daze and stared blankly at Tang Chen. She now felt that Tang Chen wasn’t joking when he said he would bring her here to eat. The boss treated him so respectfully; how could he possibly not afford a meal here?
“Why are you looking at me like that?” Being stared at by such a beautiful girl made Tang Chen feel somewhat awkward.
Yang Mi also felt a bit embarrassed and averted her gaze, saying, “I just feel like you’re a bit unfamiliar. I’m even starting to wonder if the person sitting in front of me is really the Tang Chen I know.”
Tang Chen laughed and casually said, “I’m still me, just a firework of a different color.”
Yang Mi burst out laughing. She was discovering more and more that Tang Chen was such a joker.
At that moment, a girl in a black cheongsam walked over. After placing the food on the table, she said to Tang Chen, “Young Master Tang, do you still remember me?”
Tang Chen looked at her and then also laughed, saying, “Of course I remember you, Sister Xiao Li. By the way, didn’t I ask Boss Pang to change your job? Why are you still working as a waitress? Did Boss Pang not take my words seriously?”
This girl was the waitress Xiao Li, whom Tang Chen had promoted after she served him once. Hearing his words, she quickly shook her head and said, “No, no, that’s not it. I heard that Young Master Tang had arrived, so I asked to serve you.”

Tang Chen gave her a teasing smile and said, “What, is the great beauty Yang Mi feeling jealous?”
Yang Mi gave him a charming glare and said, “Too much confidence becomes narcissism.”
Tang Chen pouted and said pretentiously, “Big Boobs, I’m not satisfied with what you said. What do you mean by narcissism? This Young Master has always been a low-key person. In this world, I’ve always believed that only someone as awesome as me deserves the admiration of beauties, like you.”
The words “Big Boobs” made Yang Mi blush. She spat at him irritably and said, “Ugh, Tang Chen, I’m trying to have a proper meal with you. Why do you have to talk so dirty?”
Tang Chen shrugged, truly not understanding the way girls thought these days. What’s wrong with saying you’re big? You are big, aren’t you? I, for one, love it when people say I’m big.
While they were eating, there was some commotion outside. All the customers’ attention turned to the entrance, where a large crowd had gathered. Most of them were girls born in the 90s, along with some aunties. Manager Pang, looking flustered, was surrounded in the middle, seemingly trying to reason with them.
“What’s going on? Is someone causing trouble?” Tang Chen muttered. Just then, he saw Xiao Li coming from outside and quickly called her over, asking, “Sister Xiao Li, what’s happening out there?”
Xiao Li said anxiously, “Young Master Tang, I was just coming to report this to you. Those people are all fans.”
“Fans?” Tang Chen frowned and asked, “What are they doing here? Is there some big celebrity eating here?”
Xiao Li said, “No, they are all TF fans. They said today is Wang Yuan’s birthday and they want to book our entire hotel to celebrate it. The boss told them it’s not allowed, but these fans weren’t happy and started arguing with him.”
“TF? What’s that?” Tang Chen didn’t care about celebrities at all, so he was completely puzzled by what Xiao Li said.
Yang Mi chimed in and said to him, “Tang Chen, I know about TF. They are the most popular young idol group in the country right now. There are three of them, and the oldest was born in 1999. Because they are young and good-looking, they are quite famous in the entertainment industry. I heard they have a lot of fans. “Young Master Tang, we can talk about this later. The boss is waiting for you to handle the situation.” Xiao Li quickly urged. What kind of critical moment was this? Young Master Tang actually still had the mood to joke around.
“Hmm, then I’ll go take a look. Yang Mi, come with me.” As he spoke, he naturally took Yang Mi’s small hand and walked toward the entrance. Yang Mi blushed but didn’t refuse.
At the entrance, the crazy fans were gradually getting restless. A girl with a face full of freckles shouted, “Why won’t you let us book the place? Today is our Yuan Yuan’s birthday!”
“Exactly! If Yuan Yuan hadn’t said on Weibo two days ago that he wanted to enjoy a birthday alone at Junyue, we wouldn’t even bother coming here to book the place.”

Boss Pang moved closer and said, “Young Master Tang, do you think I don’t want to? The fans nearby immediately surrounded her with their mobile phones and cameras. They’re well-trained! If we’re not careful and they get evidence against us, I’m worried it will harm our hotel’s reputation.”
Tang Chen was also stunned. Damn, they even pulled something like this? Trying to scam people on my turf.
“So you’re the boss here!” A girl with a very alternative style stepped out from the crowd and questioned Tang Chen. Clearly, she was the leader of this group.
Tang Chen glanced at her flat chest and said, “This Young Master is indeed the boss here. What are all of you gathered here for?”
The alternative girl said angrily, “We are all TF fans. Today is our Yuan Yuan’s birthday. He said on Weibo that he wanted to book this place to celebrate. We discussed it with your manager to fulfill Yuan Yuan’s wish, but your manager actually refused! Please give us an explanation!”
“Yes, give us an explanation!”
“If you don’t, I’ll expose you online tomorrow and ruin Junyue’s reputation!”
Tang Chen let out a casual “oh” and said, “I see. You mean you want us to kick out all the customers currently in the restaurant, so your so-called Yuan Yuan can eat here, right?”
The alternative girl nodded domineeringly and said, “That’s right.”
Tang Chen took a deep breath, then grinned and said, “Girl, it’s one thing that your chest didn’t develop properly, but did your damn brain not develop either? All these customers coming here to eat is an honor for Junyue. Just so your damn Yuan Yuan can have a meal here, you want me to kick them out? Are you an idiot? No, you must be an idiot. Manager Pang and the security guards all looked stunned. Young Master Tang was indeed Young Master Tang! So damn sharp!

“Support Young Master Tang!” The customers inside all clapped and cheered upon hearing Tang Chen’s words. They were already unhappy with this fan behavior of booking places to support idols. Young Master Tang’s actions deserved a thumbs-up!
The alternative girl who was insulted was also dumbfounded. The prepared lines couldn’t come out. Is this guy even a man? Why did he even insult a cute little girl like me? What a beast!
