Next, sleep in the Stuo Civilization was a different concept from that in the Human Civilization too.

According to the Stuo Civilization itself, the home planet of the Stuo Civilization had many moons, which reflected strong light at night.

So because of that, sleep in the Stuo Civilization usually happened many times a day, with each time very short.

If we use Human Civilization time, individuals of the Stuo Civilization slept about ten times a day, each time lasting only about ten minutes or even just minutes.

Naturally, things like in the Human Civilization where people go to a special place to rest and sleep did not happen in the Stuo Civilization either.

the Stuo Civilization had another special feature.

The individuals of the Stuo Civilization generally liked water.

Even though the individuals were land animals, and the home planet of the Stuo Civilization was mostly land.

But life’s way seemed to be this strange.

They would feel different fresh water and seawater like how the Human Civilization feels about good food, and this would make them feel happy, and they made it part of their life enjoyment.

This was something the Human Civilization could not really understand, just like the Stuo Civilization could not understand why the Human Civilization made gaining energy so fancy.

Additionally,

though the Stuo Civilization did not reproduce with two genders,

maybe because life needs to grow, they could feel pleasure when splitting apart to make offspring.

But after each split, it also caused big harm to themselves.

So, after they entered the tech age, they even made a biotechnology that other civilizations might not have used.

It let them feel the pleasure of splitting without actually splitting.

Moreover,

there were many big differences between the two because of their different biological bases.

But as they learned more, both sides did build some basic trust in each other.

Even though they did not understand some special things about the other civilization, there was no reason to start an Interstellar War over them.

This level of basic trust was good enough for both civilizations to have even more exchange.

the Stuo Civilization’s understanding and liking for the Human Civilization

was still mostly about the history and how society is in the Human Civilization.

about the technology for the Human Reproduction Device that helped shape the Human Civilization’s society now,

the Stuo Civilization did not seem interested, and for now, no one knew why.

While both civilizations kept doing basic exchange and getting to know each other,

the basic cooperation between the two that the Stuo Civilization had asked for before,

giving the Stuo Civilization some propellant for their Interstellar Fleet, was also happening.

On the Human Civilization side, they used a little production power to get some resources from the Asteroid Belt, made them ready,

The Human Civilization could not use them directly, but they got some ideas from them.

For the Human Civilization, this cooperation did not cost much production power.

For the Stuo Civilization, giving away those technologies was also small.

Deep down, this was just a try by both civilizations to work together and exchange more.

As time reached the end of the 59th year of the Human United Era,

the exchange between both civilizations kept growing richer.

Through this back-and-forth talk using radio waves, both civilizations felt they now had a base to move to even more exchange.

after talking back and forth many times before, both the Human Civilization and the Stuo Civilization decided to meet in person.

As carbon-based beings with hearing and sight,

though both had good ways to send messages,

talking face-to-face and meeting directly still meant something special.

as the host in the Solar System,

the Human Civilization sent a formal meeting invite to the Stuo Civilization.

“Dear Stuo Civilization, to help the Human Civilization and the Stuo Civilization talk and trust each other more.”

“As the native civilization of the Solar System, we invite the Stuo Civilization’s group to come, so the two sides can meet face-to-face…”

The spot for this first meeting was not set on the Human Civilization’s home star system Earth in the Solar System.

Instead, it was in a place at the edge of the Human Civilization’s land then.

It was in a Human Civilization city on Ganymede.

Besides, Qin Yu, as the head of the Negentropy Research Institute, would not go to this meeting between the two civilizations.

Even though they had talked for some time before, and both had a bit of trust,

So the two civilizations set a comfortable meeting time,

one month after the Human Civilization sent the formal invite,

right at the New Year of the Human Civilization.

After both sides agreed to meet formally one month later,

both the Stuo Civilization and the Human Civilization got busy preparing.

On the Human Civilization side, after taking out Qin Yu,

they mainly chose some proper people from inside the Negentropy Research Institute.

They were led by the head of Research Institute 011, as the direct reps for the Human Civilization in this meeting with the Stuo Civilization.

Also,

even though they were set to have face-to-face talk a month later, the radio talk between the two civilizations did not stop during this time.
