Chapter 6: Transforming Reality Matter

“If I wanted a weapon, I could conjure one easily in the Brain Hole World. But against that Vicious Dog, it would be useless junk.”

“Only reality-level things can kill it.”

Thinking this, Bai Ge abandoned the Vicious Dog and vanished instantly.

His departure plunged the survivors on the planet into despair. They assumed he too was scared and had fled.

To them, Bai Ge was the most powerful being they’d ever witnessed. If even he couldn’t defeat the Vicious Dog, it meant true hopelessness.

However, before despair could fully consume them, Bai Ge reappeared.

This time, he held what looked like an utterly ordinary stone in his hand, dirt still clinging to its surface.

“A stone?”

“You fool! How could it be just a stone when held by such a mighty figure? It must be a supreme treasure!”

“Yes! Perhaps it’s a relic from the dawn of Creation…”

Seeing Bai Ge return with this “treasure,” the survivors sighed in relief, whispering theories, trying to detect some hint of its nature.

Yet, it was genuinely just an ordinary stone.

Bai Ge had just dug it up next to a real-world dog kennel, in the yard, dirt still fresh…

But so what? The stone’s hardness surpassed that of Bai Ge’s bones.

In other words, it was a “stone harder than the bones of the toughest body across the Multiverse.”

Thus, to the inhabitants of the Brain Hole World, this was the “Hardest Stone in the Infinite Realms,” worthy of being called a Primordial Creation Treasure.

“Hmph!”

Combining the incredible mobility granted by instant Teleportation, Bai Ge’s terrifying Earthling strength, and the Earth-sourced “hard stone,” Bai Ge delivered repeated blows directly to the Vicious Dog’s head.

Finally, after beating it bloody, the Vigenous Dog died, its corpse drifting in Outer Space.

Next, Bai Ge discovered the existence of Souls.

It drifted out from the Vicious Dog’s body, a flickering point of light like a firefly. In Reality, he wouldn’t have seen it, but this was his Brain Hole; he instantly perceived this strange Energy.

“So Souls truly exist!”

He tried erasing and decomposing it, but it was futile. The point of light remained stubbornly intact, utterly invincible!

Clearly, within the Brain Hole World, despite his high authority, he couldn’t annihilate the Soul of a Reality being.

“I’m powerless against a Soul. Unless I have a way to harm Souls in Reality, this thing is invincible inside my Brain Hole.”

However, though invincible, a tiny, unconscious Soul point was easy for Bai Ge to imprison.

He casually created a Universe specifically for it.

A Prison Universe!

It was an empty Universe, forbidden from connecting with any other.

Essentially, apart from spacetime itself, nothing existed within this Universe.

Banishing the Soul here was equivalent to eternal imprisonment.

Bai Ge decided that any future Souls requiring banishment would be thrown into this place.

“What now?”

He’d dealt with the Vicious Dog, but now Bai Ge was in trouble.

When he stepped out earlier, he discovered it was already 5:58 PM in Reality. Hu Hanlong’s wife would be back imminently, if not right at 6 PM, then within minutes.

Of course, within the Brain Hole, time obeyed him. If he wished, ten thousand years here could pass in one second outside.

But this had a prerequisite: his physical body must not be inside.

The Vicious Dog had rampaged long before his body entered, proving the times were desynchronized. Yet, once his physical self entered, time here became perfectly synched with Reality.

Now, he was on a mission, but he’d killed the target’s dog. This was bound to alert them.

“What use is this superpower? I’m only impressive here! Back in Reality, I’m still a nobody!”

Bai Ge felt caught between tears and laughter. He glanced at the shattered planet, where Cultivators gazed at him with reverence bordering on worship, as if he were a Sage.

Seeing the planet in ruins, its core near collapse, Bai Ge repaired it with a single thought.

He even enriched it with exotic flowers, herbs, spiritual mountains, energy veins, and heavenly treasures, making the entire planet grander.

This, however, only highlighted the scarcity of Life, as survivors were too few.

Bai Ge pondered and decided against resurrecting the dead. Instead, he proclaimed: “Hear this! All intelligent beings on this planet! For the next day, your chance of pregnancy shall be one hundred percent! Gestation from conception to birth shall take only three minutes! There shall be no difficult births, no deformed offspring, no pain, and no hindrance to Cultivation or bloodline dilution!”

“This rule is revoked after one day!”

Hearing this announcement, the survivors stood completely baffled.

Procreation was the natural order, the Great Dao. Not even a Sage could decree such things arbitrarily!

How could a Sage rewrite the Great Dao?

Seeing no reaction from the planet’s Cultivator survivors, Bai Ge figured they, being practitioners, might be averse to… intimate activities.

He then added: “One more rule: Upon this planet, exchanging a kiss shall result in pregnancy.”

Utter bewilderment swept across them again.

This was even more absurd. How could a kiss cause pregnancy? Which Great Dao decreed that?

This time, someone finally put it to the test.

It was a nine-tailed fox, the rarest species in this universe. Continuing her bloodline was harder than Ascending to Immortality!

Even before the Vicious Dog destroyed worlds, she was the last remaining nine-tailed fox.

She had a Human partner, but offspring were impossible between them.

Now, she gently kissed her lover. Instantly, her body trembled violently.

“Xiao Yao! What’s wrong?!” The Human Cultivator exclaimed with concern.

The nine-tailed fox stared at her rapidly swelling belly in utter shock. “I’m pregnant,” she stammered.

“What?!”

Her shock was mirrored by every nearby survivor, their Dao hearts nearly shaken.

Three minutes later, a tiny, utterly adorable fox pup was born… already possessing nine tails.

“Impossible! Each tail of a nine-tailed fox requires a hundred years of Cultivation and enduring countless tribulations! How could it be born with nine tails?!”

“A kiss causing pregnancy, a three-minute gestation… Such a bloodline, difficult as the nine-tails, could easily become the overlord of all life!”

Then, they remembered Bai Ge’s decree. Their minds reeled.

Bai Ge’s power had surpassed their understanding! This was no Sage, but an indescribable existence, a being who could reshape the Great Dao with a word.

Countless survivors kissed each other while simultaneously performing reverent kowtows towards Bai Ge.

Yet, he felt no excitement, no smugness.

It felt rather empty. These beings existed or ceased to exist at his whim. Even their memories and personalities could be edited if he bothered to specify details.

Thus, the Brain Hole World was nothing but a hyper-realistic virtual world.

“Who can’t fantasize? Anyone on Earth can close their eyes and imagine, daydream… only… mine is vastly clearer and more real.”

“Does my ability… merely upgrade daydreaming from pixelated V quality to ultra-HD clarity?”

Bai Ge pondered. True, he could abandon Reality and live forever here. Everything felt completely real. If he ignored Reality, it would be like transmigration, and he was the supreme Dominator.

Others gaining this power might gladly embrace it, renouncing the competitive, exhausting Reality.

But precisely that – abandoning Reality – was unacceptable to Bai Ge.

Because he loved his sister. Ensuring she received a large sum of money was far more important than his own solitary enjoyment within his Brain Hole!

Also, knowing Reality existed while wallowing in this fantasy felt deeply self-deceptive.

“And here I thought having a superpower meant… sigh…”

Bai Ge was deeply disappointed. He rubbed the stone in his hand.

Suddenly, he realized something.

When he saved the Brainhole Creatures earlier, he had inadvertently relocated bacteria with significant destructive capabilities into Outer Space.

Microbes like bacteria and viruses… they could be affected.

“Wait… I can control bacteria? That’s from Reality!”

Bai Ge froze, then snapped his attention back to the stone. With a thought, the stone changed form.

It stretched from an irregular lump into a perfectly uniform, thin cylinder. With another manipulation, the cylinder bent into a ring.

Malleable as clay, the stone remained stone, yet he shaped it effortlessly.

“So I can manipulate Reality’s matter… only…”

He glanced at the Vicious Dog’s corpse, which now floated towards him at his will. Instantly, he understood.

“I just can’t manipulate living things from Reality… Now that it’s dead, I can control it… Ah, Souls! I cannot control matter possessing a Soul.”

“So… microbes have no Souls?”

“But even if I assign all kinds of traits to inanimate objects, they vanish back in Reality. Unless the altered shape is made permanent… So this ability makes me a super factory…”

Bai Ge immediately tested it. He bestowed the stone ring with the trait “Indestructible.”

Sure enough, back in Reality, it became useless. Hitting another rock, it broke just fine…

But the ring’s shape remained. The physical matter, once reshaped, retained its form in Reality; it didn’t revert.

“It’s past six. That woman still isn’t back, but soon… I’m short on time. What to do?”

The greater the urgency, the calmer Bai Ge grew. He wasn’t entirely out of options; he still had this superpower brimming with unknowns.

“Hold on… the dead dog… doesn’t necessarily mean it was burgled…”

“I can alter the injuries. Hide the external wounds and make it look like the dog died suddenly… Hmm… Stuff a stone in its throat, make it seem like it choked while trying to swallow one…”

His eyes lit up. He found a tangible use for his power.

The concept of a dog choking on a stone was absurd, but facts spoke louder. If he could alter the appearance of inanimate objects, covering the dog’s true cause of death flawlessly would surely deceive the family.

They’d think the dog had died, grieve, but never suspect an intruder had breached their villa.

“Fast! No time to lose!”

“The brain matter? Where did all the blood drift off to? Come back! All of it!”

As his thoughts commanded, all the physical matter that had scattered from the Vicious Dog’s corpse obediently returned!

Wielding reality-shaping power, countless fragments of brain and blood clots flowed back into the carcass…
