Chapter 451: I See You Like a Straw in a Shithole
Chapter 451: I See You Like a Straw in a Shithole
Seeing Fang Cheng remain unaffected by her Enchantment, the nine-tailed fox revealed astonishment.
Even monsters surpassing her strength would show slight susceptibility. Total immunity meant either overwhelming power or special means.
Suppressing his immediate counterattack urge, Fang Cheng demanded, “Last chance – are you Tamamo-no-Mae?”
Tamamo-no-Mae ranked equally with Shōki. Though her complete form’s disaster level remained uncertain, she undoubtedly reached ace tier or beyond.
Fang Cheng preferred peaceful negotiation if possible.
The nine-tailed fox merely smirked at his olive branch. “What do you believe?”
“Believe?” Fang Cheng sneered. “I believe you’re a straw jammed in a cesspit, greedily guzzling shit.”
The fox’s insincerity doomed negotiations.
Her smile stiffened at his vulgarity. “Resisting my Enchantment… what are you?”
Confusion gripped her – human or monster? Years isolated in wilderness left her ignorant of the changed world.
Fang Cheng chuckled. “I’m the web’s premier contrarian, patron saint of snark, doctorate in kin-cursing, elite game trashtalker, Bihu’s faceless sage. Take your pick.”
He mirrored her evasiveness with self-proclaimed titles.
After prolonged scrutiny, the nine-tailed fox rose from her bone mountain. “My secrecy demands your permanent company. You’ll confess your true identity.”
“Odd coincidence – I planned to drag you home too.” Their civil tones belied thickening bloodlust.
Bone Woman watched nervously, knowing this battle exceeded her paygrade. Survival became her sole focus.
Fang Cheng suddenly rocketed through his ceiling breach. Bone Woman gaped, mistaking retreat – until crimson rain cascaded into the cavern.
Memories of Blood Eagle’s explosions flashed through her. She paled.
BOOM!
Deafening detonation shook the cave as blood ignited, flames devouring all.
Fang Cheng hovered aboveground, observing fiery plumes erupting into a twenty-meter mushroom cloud. Though dwarfed by Tokyo’s Nest of Life eruption, this blast still impressed.
The mountain groaned and crumbled beneath collapsing vibrations, panicked birds darkening distant skies.
“Rise and shine!” Fang Cheng tousled Qingxue’s head before smacking Tsukikage Chuxia’s drool-slicked jowls. The fat cat’s slobber soaked his chest.
“Mrrp!”
Soon, the two cats woke up. Tsukikage Chuxia looked around dazedly before wailing, “Why’d you wake me? There’s still so much catnip joy and dried fish waiting for me!”
Anyone could guess the fat cat only cared about food. Yet after her outburst, she squeezed her eyes shut again, trying to return to the Enchantment-induced illusion.
Qingxue swatted her with a paw. “Stop embarrassing us.”
Tsukikage Chuxia clutched her forehead. “Why hit me?”
BOOM!
A deafening clang cut through the sisters’ squabble.
A massive nine-tailed fox emerged from the collapsing mountain, leaping hundreds of meters through the air to land safely. With a casual tail flick, she sent the paper umbrella-wielding Bone Woman tumbling toward the ground.
Fang Cheng stretched his hand toward the falling figure, attempting to manipulate blood with his Tide of Blood technique to eliminate the fox’s subordinate. But the Bone Woman’s skin clung directly to her bones without flesh or blood, rendering his power useless.
“Lord Cheng.” Qingxue stepped forward. “Let us deal with her. We’ll prove our training wasn’t wasted.”
As Fang Cheng nodded approval, Tsukikage Chuxia yowled, “You go alone! I can’t fight that!” Still shaken from being captured and threatened, she wanted nothing more than to hide under blankets playing games.
Fang Cheng smacked the quivering cat’s rear. “Help Qingxue win, and I’ll give unlimited joy, dried fish and catnip in Mechanical City for two days.”
“Really?”
“When have I lied?”
Tsukikage Chuxia’s eyes blazed with fighting spirit as she glared down at their enemy. “CHARGE!”
Fang Cheng transported both cats via Blood Eagle before turning toward the nine-tailed fox. The furious beast glared – this bastard had destroyed her home before battle even started!
Without ceremony, Fang Cheng’s Blood Combat Suit sprouted countless cannons. A meteor shower of shells engulfed the fox in continuous explosions.
She emerged unscathed, one Kujo Tail tip glowing with translucent blue Fox Fire. She aimed at Fang Cheng and unleashed a cerulean beam.
“Fireplay? My turn!” Fang Cheng merged his cannons into a massive flamethrower. Pure demon flames erupted, forming a roaring pillar of fire.
Two different demon flames collided and annihilated each other, their explosive light momentarily overpowering even the sunlight.
According to the wave confrontation rule where the left side always loses, the nine-tailed fox positioned on the left found her Fox Fire completely suppressed by Pure Demon Flames, forced to dodge sideways.
The pillar of fire struck the Dense Forest below, its terrifying high temperature instantly carving a long scorched trail.
“Pure Demon Flames?!”
The nine-tailed fox glared up at Fang Cheng. “What’s your connection with the Ghost Lord of Iron Fortress?”
“You answer my question first.”
Fang Cheng countered, “Are you truly Tamamo-no-Mae?”
Seeing his persistent questioning, coldness flashed through the nine-tailed fox’s eyes.
She emitted a piercing howl that echoed across the mountainous terrain.
Countless glowing specks emerged from the surrounding Dense Forest, transforming the area into a starry sea that surged toward Fang Cheng in the air.
Each speck revealed itself as faintly luminous spirits – both monster souls and human ghosts.
Legends spoke of Tamamo-no-Mae’s ability to command spectral forces. These weren’t demons from the demon clan, but wandering spiritual entities, earning this power its name – Soul Control.
Now she summoned every lost soul that had perished in these deep mountains – humans and monsters alike – to assault Fang Cheng.
Spiritual entities resisted physical attacks, nullifying Fang Cheng’s blood-based abilities.
Fortunately, he’d long since overcome such limitations, no longer needing the oddly-shaped vajra weapons from Sensō-ji’s masters.
Heavenly Dragon’s Wrath!
A deafening dragon roar shook the mountains as terrifying shockwaves erupted from Fang Cheng, rippling outward in all directions.
This new ability fused with Great Power Heavenly Dragon possessed Buddhist demon-subduing properties, perfectly suited to dispel these spirits.
Wherever the shockwave reached, ghostly figures disintegrated into swirling white particles.
“ROAR!”
The nine-tailed fox suddenly burst from the spirit swarm, razor claws slashing at Fang Cheng.
With both Fox Fire and Soul Control ineffective, she now sought to exploit her size advantage in close combat.
“You want melee combat? Think I’ll show you something smaller?”
Fang Cheng transformed into a ten-meter giant clad in crimson armor.
His colossal fist smashed into the fox’s face with a thunderous punch: “Eat this!”
The nine-tailed fox’s head snapped sideways as her massive form went careening backward.
While this titanic clash continued, another battle had already commenced nearby…
Qingxue and Tsukikage Chuxia descended via Blood Eagle, swiftly spotting Bone Woman standing atop the treetops.
Overflowing with impatience, Tsukikage Chuxia leapt from the Blood Eagle mid-air.
Fang Cheng’s promise had filled the catgirl with boundless courage and fighting spirit, driving her to strike first.
Mid-plummet, she transformed into a gigantic feline, crashing down toward Bone Woman with full momentum.
Crack! Boom!
The entire Large Tree shattered into fragments, leaving a cat-shaped dent in the Ground.
Bone Woman drifted lightly to another tree, evading the fat cat’s crushing attack.
Snap!
A crisp sound rang out as she glanced down—her foot had frozen to the Tree Trunk.
Above, Qingxue descended from the Blood Eagle’s back, her gaze locking onto Bone Woman as ice enveloped the foe from afar.
The cold crept upward along Bone Woman’s leg.
Without hesitation, Bone Woman severed her own thigh with a flick of her hand, then leaped backward on one leg.
A new bone sprouted from the severed stump, skin swiftly wrapping around it like an inflating balloon.
As Qingxue fell through the air, crystalline ice wings erupted from her back.
She rode a cold current forward, hurling countless ice spikes toward Bone Woman like piercing rain.
Bone Woman spun her paper fan, unleashing a storm of bone needles.
“Thousand Bone Rain!”
Needles and ice spikes collided midair, clattering like monsoon rains against tin roofs.
With no foothold, Bone Woman crashed to the Ground.
Nearby vegetation suddenly parted as the enlarged Tsukikage Chuxia charged through, swatting her massive paw like a flyswatter.
Wham!
This time Bone Woman couldn’t dodge—the blow smashed her into the earth.
When Tsukikage Chuxia tried to press her attack, her paw recoiled against unseen force.
Bone Woman rose as a colossal skeleton, heaving against the paw before swinging her own bony hand.
Crash!
Tsukikage Chuxia yowled in pain as her body hurtled backward, flattening swaths of vegetation.
An icy mountain plummeted from the sky toward Bone Woman’s head.
Despite her massive body, Bone Woman twisted aside effortlessly. She pointed at Qingxue, ghostly fire blazing in her hollow eyes.
“Bone Resonance!”
Qingxue’s body locked mid-dodge, every bone trembling violently. Agony flooded her limbs, freezing her movements.
Bone Woman launched a thick finger like a cannon shell at terrifying speed.
Gritting through the torment, Qingxue blasted herself sideways with a cold current while encasing her body in thick ice.
The projectile shattered her Ice Block with a thunderous crack.
Qingxue tumbled from the sky like a broken kite, vanishing into the Dense Forest.
As Bone Woman moved for the kill, a furious roar erupted nearby.
“Die, old hag!”
Tsukikage Chuxia charged forward, swinging her Cat Paws to engage Bone Woman in melee.
Her power proved too weak, leaving only faint scratches on the bones.
Bone Woman’s overwhelming strength sent Tsukikage Chuxia reeling with mere slaps. A final chop to the back of her head slammed the catgirl down, her body shrinking rapidly.
Qingxue emerged on a tree in Dense Forest, her side stained with blood. The wound had been sealed by glacial ice.
As Bone Woman raised a bone to finish Tsukikage Chuxia, Qingxue’s body suddenly expanded. Her eyes blazed with blue light so intense it consumed their pupils.
She inhaled deeply and unleashed a howling cold current – a torrent of ice and snow that flash-froze everything in its path before shredding frozen objects into glittering dust.
The arctic blast became a roaring ice river crashing toward Bone Woman.
Caught mid-killstrike, the skeletal figure staggered backward. Her bones crackled with freezing ice as cutting winds carved deep grooves across her frame.
“Chuxia!”
Qingxue’s voice carried neither scorn nor harshness now, only urgent encouragement as she cried her sister’s name for the first time.
The call made Tsukikage Chuxia’s ears snap upright. Shaking her head, she pushed up with trembling limbs. Her body began expanding beyond its previous size. The bitter cold invigorated the Snow Cat, restoring her depleted power.
Blue fire ignited in Tsukikage Chuxia’s eyes as she roared. Frost armored her body in thickening ice plates.
Bone Woman swung half-frozen hands. Tsukikage Chuxia tanked the blows, ice armor cracking but holding. Her ice-clad Cat Paws shattered the brittle hand bones.
Trapped in the cold current, Bone Woman struggled to retreat. But Tsukikage Chuxia’s buff-enhanced assault gave no quarter.
“Oraoraoraora!”
A flurry of Cat Paws shredded the frozen skeleton. Bones clattered down as fragments, the ghostly fire in their eye sockets guttering out.
Tsukikage Chuxia planted one paw on the last bone shard and unleashed a victorious yowl.
“Meow!”
