Chapter 101: The Dolphin’s Gift

Early the next morning, Zhou Yu woke up feeling refreshed. He saw the radio on the table and shook his head with a soft sigh.

Inside, he saw a huge white Pearl. It looked very beautiful, shining with a silvery-white luster.

He took the Pearl out of the Pearl Oyster. Zhou Yu’s face showed a flash of astonishment. This Pearl looked slightly larger than a Grape, definitely much bigger than the pearls he usually saw.

After taking out the Pearl, Zhou Yu put the now dead Pearl Oyster back into the Sea. Judging by the size of this shell, it had probably lived for nearly ten years at least. He held the Pearl up and looked at it against the sunlight. It was almost flawless.

“Thank you, big guy,” Zhou Yu said. He put the Pearl into the plastic bag, wrapped it up tightly, then patted the dolphin’s head gratefully.

This dolphin might have discovered the Pearl Oyster earlier and specifically brought it to him from the Sea today.

From its actions of knowing to thank him and give him a Pearl, this dolphin’s intelligence was already quite remarkable.

As if understanding the meaning in Zhou Yu’s words, the dolphin made two happy sounds, then lowered its body into the Sea, indicating for him to get on.

Zhou Yu smiled and nodded. He rode on the dolphin’s back, and it cut through the waves all the way towards the land.
