“What else could it be? Intruders!” the white-haired Cait yelled angrily at Sihai Weijia. “You came just in time! I’ve sped up the potion making. It’ll be ready very soon! Protect me! Don’t let the enemies come in here and disturb me!”
Much earlier, when most of the monsters around died, Cait knew intruders had come. But with three Giant Apes already destroyed by the enemy, and the Giant Wood Maze being so small, even sending all the big monsters might not finish off the intruders. So Cait stopped worrying about Eve and instead focused on speeding up the potion. Once the potion was ready, it wouldn’t matter even if all the big monsters died.
“No problem, Mr. Cait. You just relax. With us here, no one will disturb your potion making,” Sihai Weijia nodded firmly.
Cait gave a satisfied nod and turned back into the wooden hut.
Inside the wooden hut, pots of potions of various sizes stood everywhere. Before old man Cait was an ancient glass apparatus, holding many glass vessels of different colors. From the bottom outlet of the apparatus, a dark red liquid was slowly forming.
“Keep a good watch! Don’t let anyone get close!”
Outside the hut, Sihai Weijia ordered in a low voice.
Though things were unexpected, now that he had arrived, the quest wouldn’t be ruined again.
Their quest was to protect old man Cait until he completed a certain experiment. Now, the old man was about to finish the potion. Once it was done, the experiment would follow. Today, the quest Sihai Weijia had waited almost a week for would finally be completed.
Once this quest was finished, they could get huge rewards from old man Cait. After that, they could kill the Area Elite, earn Guild Points… the future looked very bright!
“Yes! Boss Sihai!”
The surrounding Four Seas Guild members all responded eagerly and spread out, tightly encircling the wooden hut.
Six or seven minutes later, old man Cait violently pushed the wooden door open and strode out.
“Hahaha! Finally done!” Old man Cait held up a vial of dark red potion and laughed heartily.
Sihai Weijia and the others watched curiously, wondering what Cait would do next. They knew he wanted to make a potion for an experiment, but they didn’t know what experiment it actually was.
“As I thought.”
Old man Cait walked towards Eliya locked inside an iron cage, still holding the potion. Seeing this, the Four Seas Guild members inwardly confirmed their suspicion – this trapped girl was the test subject.
Beaming with a satisfied smile, Cait approached Eliya. But just then, Sihai Weijia suddenly shouted, “Careful!”
Cait froze. A sharp whistling sound reached his ears. He looked up, stunned to see a Black Iron Arrow hurtling straight towards him!
Cait was shocked. He was just a potion master; he wasn’t strong enough to even tie up a chicken. If this arrow hit him, he would be badly hurt.
“Haikun!”
Sihai Weijia snapped coldly. Immediately, a young Warrior holding a shield near him used his Charge Skill, rushing forward to block the path of the Black Iron Arrow.

Over 150 points of Damage floated up above Haikun’s head. Haikun’s heart tightened. Whoever shot this arrow was no ordinary Archer. This was a powerhouse Archer with a strong bow talent and top-notch equipment!
“It’s those four?”
Sihai Weijia narrowed his eyes, looking towards the four players and one NPC emerging from the mist.
“Hmph! The guts! Seeing us with so many people, and they still dare show their faces? Think they’re invincible?” A female Mage beside Sihai Weijia, called A Grain of Sand in the Sea, scoffed coldly, seeing Chen Mo and his group appear under these circumstances.
With over twenty people from the Four Seas Guild, plus the old man Cait’s three Giant Apes, these four still dared to show up? They were utterly disrespecting the Four Seas Guild!
“Kill!”
At Sihai Weijia’s signal, one squad charged at Chen Mo’s group. Another squad stared fiercely, ready to reinforce them at any moment.
The previous squad was wiped out easily partly because of the terrain. Here, the area was open, and both squads were stronger than the previous scouting team. Sihai Weijia didn’t believe those four could cause any more trouble.
“Holy sht!”
“The Mutant Slime King?!”
But in the next instant, Sihai Weijia and the surrounding Four Seas Guild members’ hearts pounded violently. They could hardly believe their eyes!
A gigantic purple Slime appeared. They couldn’t possibly not recognize it – this Starter Village Mutant Boss was still creating buzz on the Forums even now!
The Mutant Boss appeared and unleashed one powerful skill. The squad charging at the front was instantly wiped – three Players died immediately, two were severely injured. If they hadn’t been experienced Players, the entire squad might have been finished off in a flash.
“Pull back! Retreat first!” Sihai Weijia sucked in a cold breath. He already had a guess about that Hunter’s identity. Knowing what this Hunter had done before, he didn’t dare underestimate him anymore. He quickly told the survivors to pull back for now.
But this wasn’t giving up. Sihai Weijia turned and spoke respectfully to Cait: “Mr. Cait, as you see, those intruders are exceptionally strong. Please, send your experimental monsters. We’ll support you from the side. Those intruders definitely won’t survive.”
Sihai Weijia had personally experienced the terror of the Mutant Slime King. Even though that Boss was only level 10, he didn’t want his men risking it. Who knew how many losses it would take just to win.
But Cait still had three giant monsters! With those three joining the fight, and the Four Seas Guild assisting on the side, no matter how good that Hunter was, he couldn’t possibly beat them now!
“No problem!” Cait, furious with these intruders Chen Mo’s group, instantly agreed to Sihai Weijia’s suggestion.
“ROAR!”
The last three giant monsters let out thunderous roars and lurched wildly towards Chen Mo’s group.
“This is bad!” Chen Mo’s heart sank heavily.
Big Fatty’s Health Points were almost gone. It definitely couldn’t withstand the assault from three Giant Apes plus so many Players.
He hadn’t expected the Four Seas Guild to arrive so fast. When they reached the Giant Wood Tray, he’d planned to lure away two Giant Apes himself, letting Golden Phoenix and the others handle just one first. After that, they could slowly take care of the remaining two.
But the sudden arrival of the Four Seas Guild had ruined his plans.
“Pro! I’m here to help!”
Just as the three Giant Apes were about to clash with Chen Mo’s group, a bunch of Players surged out of the thick fog behind them!
Leading the charge was none other than Da Qing Shan! Da Qing Shan blinked in surprise at seeing such a large wooden tray, then caught a glimpse of a familiar figure ahead. He instantly recognized Chen Mo – the one who’d taught him how to steal monsters!
Chen Mo, after suiciding over and over, had long disappeared from Da Qing Shan’s friends list. After entering the Main City, Da Qing Shan had wanted to contact him, but the old friend request was already erased by the System. Yet here, unexpectedly, Da Qing Shan ran into Chen Mo again.
He already had a grudge against the Four Seas Guild anyway. Seeing Chen Mo about to get swarmed by them, he naturally wouldn’t just stand aside. With a loud yell, Da Qing Shan led his people charging over!
“You?” Seeing Da Qing Shan, Chen Mo was completely surprised. Encountering this big spender again like this was also unexpected.
Da Qing Shan brought nearly thirty Players right then. Chen Mo’s spirits lifted; he knew the tide had turned.
“These fools again!”
Just when they could rid themselves of those four so easily, Da Qing Shan popped up! Sihai Weijia instantly burned with anger.
The Four Seas Guild had only stolen monsters once from Da Qing Shan’s group, yet this guy clung to them like a mad dog ever since!
Before that incident, the Four Seas Guild hadn’t expected to stir up such a persistent nuisance. But in-games? Monster-stealing happened all the time! A guild couldn’t grow just by talking; sometimes, you just had to grab what you needed.
Facing others seeking payback? Sihai Weijia wouldn’t bat an eye. But this Da Qing Shan guy… Even after the Four Seas Guild beat his group again and again, he just wouldn’t quit. Now, even Sihai Weijia felt a little regret stirring about provoking this madman.
“These idiots! They’ll die no matter how many show up! Kill them again!”
Seeing Da Qing Shan mess around yet again, Sihai Weijia coldly gave the order.
He knew exactly how skilled Da Qing Shan and his people really were – there was zero skill involved. Their only redeeming quality was their fearlessness!

Hmph, Sihai Weijia thought viciously. I’ll just keep killing them until they do get afraid.
