Chapter 50: Killing Monsters

Xu Feng did not mind that they did not step forward to help. After digging out the Insect Crystal, he said to them: “Whoever kills the monster gets the loot.”

After saying that, Xu Feng picked up the Wolf Monster’s Bone Blade. He saw it was a Black Iron Grade weapon and put it into his Storage Ring. Then, he used Gathering Art on the Wolf Monster’s corpse.

At that moment, a large group of Wolf Monsters chased out behind Xu Feng. Xu Feng slashed a few times with his sword, killing this bow-wielding Wolf Monster. He glanced at the headless corpse in front of it, shook his head, and ran towards the passage.

That passage was not wide, only allowing one Wolf Monster at a time. At that moment, Ma Wei and Zhang Yong were standing in the passage, desperately fighting off a Wolf Monster’s attacks. The remaining Wolf Monsters chased behind but couldn’t attack Ma Wei and Zhang Yong from the front. Several Wolf Monsters roared angrily but had no solution; the narrow passage couldn’t fit two Wolf Monsters side by side.

“Kill it, kill it! Either it dies, or we do!” Ma Wei lost his usual composure, his face twisted as he yelled and wildly swung his Long Axe at the Wolf Monster.

Zhang Yong also swung his Short Blade, hacking at the Wolf Monster. For a while, the two of them were evenly matched with the Wolf Monster.

Xu Feng, followed by a large group of Wolf Monsters chasing him, also entered the passage.

Killing the Wolf Monsters in front from behind, Xu Feng met up with Zhang Yong and Ma Wei.

However, outside the passage, a large group of Wolf Monsters still blocked the entrance, pacing back and forth.

Xu Feng guarded the passage, breathing heavily. He took out food and water from his ring to restore his stamina. The Wolf Monsters were momentarily intimidated by Xu Feng’s super combat power. Although they didn’t retreat, none dared to charge into the passage, because as soon as they entered, they would face Xu Feng’s lightning-fast, furious attacks.
