Chapter 72: The Departing Warriors

With a groan, Ya and Ling opened their eyes at the same time. Their wounds were covered in a soft light. Flesh quickly regrew, and damaged blood vessels and bones also appeared out of nowhere within the light. They frowned slightly, as if enduring some kind of pain.

In just a few breaths of time, the light covering the two women gradually faded. All the injuries on their bodies had completely healed. Not only were the physical wounds gone, but even the lost blood and expended Divine Power had returned to their peak state. In fact, their Divine Power aura felt even stronger than before, showing faint signs of breaking through their current level.

“Elham, did you use the divine origin potion?” Ya and Ling frowned and asked simultaneously.

Elham slowly nodded. He put the small medicine bottle in his hand back into his pocket and asked with a frown, “How did you end up like this? Where is Adu? Where did he go? Did he abandon you and let you be attacked by enemies?”

Without saying a word, they stood up and quickly walked into a room in the suite. After a while, the two women came out fully dressed, having changed into a set of red robes. Elham, who had been calmly sitting on the sofa waiting, couldn’t help but be momentarily distracted. The sight of the two beauties fresh from the bath, radiant and glowing, shook his heart slightly. Arthur, who had been standing silently to the side, also couldn’t help but have a flicker in his eyes. A trace of greed flashed in his purple pupils, but he quickly hid it very well.

“Where is Adu?” Elham steadied his mind and continued with his previous question.

The faces of Ya and Ling turned quite strange. Their eyes flickered, and their pretty faces stiffened slightly.

Elham just slightly raised his hand, signaling Arthur to question the five Black Spirit men who had been standing there motionless. During the time the two women were bathing and changing clothes, the five big men remained standing. The two big men with chest wounds from sword stabs let their blood flow down their bodies, staining a large area of the carpet red, yet they never moved.

The expressions of Ya and Ling also shifted unpredictably. Suddenly, they spoke up together, calling out, “Five brave Warriors, please wait.”

The five big men hesitated slightly, stopped at the same time, and turned to look.

This is a small token of our gratitude. This is a gem blessed by the Gods. It will protect you and keep you safe.”

The five Black Spirit men were exceptionally straightforward. They did not refuse. The big man stuffed the Ruby into his belt, then took out an uncut diamond about the size of two or three adult thumbs and handed it to the two women. “Thank you for your gift. It is the tradition of our Black Spirit Continent that if we accept a gift, we must give one in return. This kind of gem is a specialty of our Black Spirit Continent. We give it to you two ladies as a memento!”

After handing the diamond to Ya, the five big men walked openly and honestly into the hidden door they came from and left the Green Gem Hotel via the secret passage.

The eyes of the two women flickered. They suddenly let out soft sighs. “They truly are real Warriors!”

Arthur’s face grew even more unpleasant. They were indeed real Warriors, but now they had left him!
