Chapter 108: Agility Card

He knew every single Eerie Point in his account was extremely important for his future fight against Death Killer and for rescuing Yi Ya. He absolutely could not waste them carelessly.

The black off-road vehicle was very sturdy. Its tires had excellent grip, the chassis was extremely heavy, and the body seemed to be made of special steel. As Lü Yang sped along, scraping against other cars, the off-road vehicle’s body barely shook or sustained much damage. Failure meant all five circuit breakers would close, and Yi Ya would die instantly!

But, if he could complete this so-called ‘test,’ he might get a chance to meet Death Killer and force him into the Mysterious Domain. Only then would he have a chance to defeat him and rescue Yi Ya.

He had to go all out!

The entire river-bottom tunnel was at least three kilometers long. Even if the tunnel was completely empty of other cars, Lü Yang driving at 200 kilometers per hour would still take about a minute to get through. Right now, the correct lane was extremely congested. Although the opposing wrong-way lane wasn’t blocked, the stream of cars could still be described as continuous. Shortly after entering the tunnel, Lü Yang had serious collisions with two small cars coming at high speed from the opposite direction. Looking at the two cars he had sent spinning, Lü Yang felt a pang of guilt… He guessed the people in those cars must have gotten hurt, at least a little. In his daily life, he was always someone who tried to avoid harming others. The people in these cars were innocent citizens. If they got into serious accidents because he was trying to save Yi Ya, Lü Yang would feel deeply responsible, just like when he punched and knocked out the electric scooter owner earlier to save time.

Lü Yang had to reduce his speed appropriately. Otherwise, facing the cars speeding towards him in the river-bottom tunnel, he simply couldn’t react fast enough.

A minute passed in the blink of an eye, and Lü Yang had advanced less than one-tenth of the way through the tunnel. The situation looked very bad.

Lü Yang had no way back. Because he had continuously provoked Death Killer earlier, he successfully attracted Death Killer’s attention and made Death Killer change the game rules. If Lü Yang failed the test of driving the wrong way out of the tunnel within three minutes, Yi Ya would immediately suffer continuous damage from the 60V lethal voltage. Use the Agility Card?

Without using the Agility Card, he couldn’t pass the test, and Yi Ya would die. If he used the Agility Card and managed to evade the police before passing out, there was still a slim chance of survival.

If he was caught by the police after losing consciousness, once he woke up, the cooldown period for card use should have passed. He could just exchange for a Name Cleansing Card then to clear his name!

Gritting his teeth, Lü Yang, while driving, used a command to spend one Eerie Point to exchange for an Agility Card and immediately used it.
