Chapter 99: Burrowing Worm

The Barbarian Warrior let out a roar, his body instantly growing larger. Thick blue veins, like earthworms, bulged on his sturdy arms, and his eyes turned bloodshot. After entering Berserk state, the Barbarian Warrior immediately launched a Charge, swiftly rushing toward the Burrowing Worm.

“Berserk!” The shadow, upon seeing the Barbarian enter Berserk, instantly retreated a few steps, watching the Barbarian Warrior warily.

“Whirlwind Slash!”

The Barbarian Warrior’s arm muscles bulged, and his bones cracked loudly. The heavy Two-Handed Axe released a blade of air that instantly struck the Burrowing Worm’s skull! The immense force directly severed the Burrowing Worm’s head, and dark yellow blood gushed out. The Burrowing Worm’s massive body struggled a few times before collapsing to the ground with a loud thud.

After killing the Burrowing Worm, the Barbarian Warrior’s muscles began to return to normal, and the redness in his eyes faded. He quickly exited the Berserk state. The other Burrowing Worm tried to escape but was struck by another Barbarian in Berserk state directly in the gap of its carapace. Its body tried to retract but was stuck by the great axe, unable to move. Earth-yellow blood gushed out, and its resistance grew weaker and weaker. It would not take long for it to die.

“Stranger, state your purpose,” said the Barbarian who had exited Berserk state, not letting his guard down despite the earlier assistance, his eyes fixed on the figure in the gray robe.

This figure appeared somewhat slender but was tall, about two meters in height. The entire figure was concealed by a wide robe, and even the face was hidden, making it look very mysterious.
