Chapter 35: Giant Tiger

He was already very far from the Territory. The surroundings were quiet, and the light in the forest was a bit dim. Su Lun soon noticed some traces. A large amount of thorns on the ground were broken. The breaks were fresh, and the snapped branches had not yet withered completely. Clearly, some animal had passed through here.

“Roar!”

The sound was deafening, carrying a trace of pain.

“Giant Tiger? Found you!”

After stepping back and steadying himself, Su Lun clearly saw the monster that had just attacked him. It was a tiger. This tiger was huge, far exceeding the size of other tigers. Its limbs were strong, claws and teeth sharp. Just standing there, it exuded a heavy pressure.

“Territory instance activated. Please defeat the Giant Tiger before you.” The cold prompt of the System sounded in his ears.

“Roar!”

Within a five-meter radius of the explosion center, it looked as if a hurricane had passed through. All trees and dry grass were flattened and broken, pointing in every direction.

Holding the already bent and deformed spear, Su Lun quickly charged toward the Giant Tiger. An afterimage streaked through the air. The next moment, Su Lun was beside the Giant Tiger. The heavy spear, trailing shadows, smashed down on its head. Before the Giant Tiger could react, it felt intense pain on its head.

The severe pain instead provoked the Giant Tiger’s ferocity. It recklessly clawed and tore in attack.

The massive force made him retreat several steps involuntarily. Seizing the distance created, the Giant Tiger turned to flee. But it underestimated Su Lun’s speed. Seeing the reward about to escape, Su Lun charged forward without a second thought.

His severely deformed spear swung down hard. A sharp, pained tiger cry sounded. The Giant Tiger’s hind claws were now bent and deformed. The severely injured claws could no longer support its body. The massive form crashed to the ground.
