Its personality also changed dramatically, becoming frenzied, highly aggressive, extremely difficult to tame, and capable of learning a multitude of Soul Skills.
Even with a Life Soul Pact, very few Soul Masters could subdue this Soul Beast.
Simultaneously, the evolution method for this Soul Pet remained a mystery.

The Green Caterpillar nodded solemnly too.
After the intense training near the Soul Sacrificial Tree, both the Proficiency Level and power of its Blazing Charge had improved noticeably.
Executing it might not be effortless yet, but it could fire and retract it reliably.
The window of opportunity was fleeting.
The white silk contracted. Wang Che, holding the Green Caterpillar, shot like a projectile towards the distant Floating Earth Clod.

Without hesitation, the Green Caterpillar shot a blast of white silk towards the lizard’s right wing – a nearly two-meter wide membrane resembling a bat’s wing.
Its body spun like an amusement park ride, swerving clear.
Just then, a sharp claw, shimmering with dark red light, slashed through the spot where the Green Caterpillar had been.
The Soul Skill, Violent Claw. An incredibly potent Hundred-Year Soul Skill. Against weaker Soul Beasts, a single hit could shred defenses and cause grievous injury.
If this Violent Claw from the Flying Frenzied Lizard landed, the Green Caterpillar would be finished.
